You unearthed a memory with the Cartoon Cartoon Top 5. I remember liking it because it had some variety but it was also uncomfy feeling because it was a Sunday afternoon, my family was usually watching football in the other room and we'd usually have some dinner I didn't like and I would be frustrated school was the next day. I remember Adult Swim not being on every night but I have watched it for so many years that it is hard to recall the actual experience. Nick News never felt like a Sunday thing, even if it was, just because of how infrequent it was. Nick at Nite I watched all week long, depending on what was in rotation.

I just wonder who the frick unironically watched Nick News as a child? I just knew that they kept placing it near All That or Keenan n Kel. Only some fricking school shooter would watch it. Nick at Nite at least had decent sitcoms.

Yeah when I'd get in my "I need to be a responsible worldly grown up" moods I'd watch like one segment before saying it was boring and running away.

Not all of us were nasty snot-nosed muttonheads and kids and wanted intellectual stimulation.

For me it was Adult Swim, if nothing I liked was on then I'd watch Nick at Nite.

It was Toonami before Adult Swim; X-Men Unlimited and Rurouni Kenshin were the last shows before Mission Hill.

Don't have any Flintstones thread up to post this, and I don't wanna make a thread just to respond to a post from a dead thread, so here we go.

    [...]

    >They gambled on doing a prequel because of the smaller budget and not getting the 90's movie cast back- and that didn't help.
This is incorrect. The first Flintstones movie had a budget of 46 million dollars. The sequel had a budget of 83 million. They had more money, but most of the original team backed out after there was a change in the production team. So they shifted from a direct sequel to the prequel idea.
Still doesn't forgive them bringing fricking Gazoo into it.

The Nick News special on the 2008 recession scared the living shit out of me. I started collecting coins thinking I was about to end up on the streets
