production cost was 300m, it will get back in 4 weeks

The production was over 300 million, advertising budget was around 125-150. Theaters take roughly half, so it needs about $900,000,000 to break even. good luck mouseBlack person lmao

      Worldwide is $130,547,103.
This is including the major summer holiday in the US. Barely higher than The Little Mermaid on a random summer weekend.
      This is catastrophic.

Weird, in Colombia the theaters were packed this weekend

Only an extra $50m from outside the US? That's really bad, usually the foreign numbers are 1.5x or more of the domestic for a big name franchise

why are you all so obsessed about box office sales? almost every day i see some box office/ budget thread and it means nothing to me at all.
If a movies good, its good. if its shitty, its shitty. I could give less of a shit about what movies the rest of the population watches.

      >why are you all so obsessed about box office sales?

Because it upsets shillls like yourself

It means a lot to theaters. This is suppose to be the summer box office and it's been flop after flop. The only thing helping theaters this year so far is Mario and Spider-verse. The only thing left that could save the summer box office is Mission Impossible, Barbie and Oppenheimer.

      >why are you all so obsessed about box office sales?

Because we love it when evil companies such as Disney suffer, and the only way a company suffers is when it loses money.

In all fairness this Indy movie was fine. Felt a bit rushed and they fumbled the ending, but mostly it was good. A pleasant surprise, considering the succession of frickups we've endured

The movie has time travel right?
Why is time travel always used for personal reasons in movies, instead of stopping a great war or bringing a technology forward,
