amazon purposely only shows you tv shows/movies that are on paid channels that you dont own and when you buy said channel all of it's content will disappear from lists and even top watches. Just by them doing that israelite shit makes it legitimately unusable as a medium for channels but it won't stop because it works and will keep working.

seriously, the prime app on my TV is absolute fricking dogshit. 90% of the content on there is either an extra channel you need to pay for, or straight up paid content. They intentionally make it hard to find something you can watch for free or included hoping you'll cave and pay the $5 to watch Top Gun
If you do pay all of it's content gets removed off prime tv and locked behind that channel's app until you stop the subscription. Student prime gives super discounts and free months. I've tested it with quite a few channel apps on prime.
