>It still killed his career
That sucks, I get it though. Shesow is a very hard concept to swallow especially it coming out when it did.
I remember early on, Ben 10 almost did something similar. Before 10 different aliens, it was going to be a kid who could turn inyo 10 different super heroes. One of those super heroes being a woman.
Didn't the show do very well with it's network though? Only failing to get a second season because of higher ups leaving and new ones coming in and cancelling everything currently airing.
What career? He was a nobody before and is a nobody now. At least he managed to get his idea for a cartoon made in his lifestyle, not many can claim that
I don't know about that. I mean it seems like all he ever wanted to do was Shezow. He still talks about it on Tiktok and wants Netflix to make a live action Shezow reboot. He owns the rights and made a comic, his only other book he worked with a popular Shezow fan artist for the cover. I feel bad for him a bit, but you can imagine being known as the guy trying to get your show about a 12 year old boy crossdressing off the ground for years isn't doing him any favors
>He owns the rights
He does? While it's sad that he never got that second season of he really does own the series still then it's kind of a nice silver lining there. It's honestly more than the vast majority of creators get. At least it does seem like he's still pretty passionate about the series. How long ago was that Shezow comic?
>Crossdressing isn't *technically* troonyism
This isn't Cinemaphile, but there was an anime with a crossdressing male character and the publisher changed the translations to make him trans instead, so the author had to publically come out and call them on it. Apparently, there's a distinction.
They are but, Kelly's eyes usually have one smaller eye facing the audience. They really went out of their way to make Kelly look awful as Shezow so we would agree Guy is cuter and it's really funny
Enough with this troony shit
Crossdressing isn't *technically* troonyism
That's how the creator defended the show.
It still killed his career.

It isn't just the concept.
The costume and hairstyle screams "drag queen", which wasn't as pushed back then.

It's was originally supposed to be an adult show called Sheezam (like Shazam, geddit?). The drag stuff made more sense with that.

Yes it is, you mentally-ill groomer
Guess John Cleese is a troony.

Sorry, I meant manga.
SheZow was made like 3 years before anyone took trannies seriously.
I miss graffiti in cartoons
I thought Kelly and Guy are twins.
They are twins.
They are but, Kelly's eyes usually have one smaller eye facing the audience. They really went out of their way to make Kelly look awful as Shezow so we would agree Guy is cuter and it's really funny
Kept away from the last two threads since I assumed they would be complete garbage fires
How did those turn out?
Better than this one.
How so?
They were both great. New fan art, return of an old regular artist, and fun posting abound. You missed out. This one is off to a rough start.
Again, what the frick is wrong with canadians.
Canadians will work for peanuts.

nice
If this show came out only a few years later, the website formally known as Twitter would have loved it for being pro-trans.
Or hated it for not taking transsexuality seriously.
It came out in a sweet spot that just managed to avoid all of that.
Does this version have a vegana?
It's a shapeshifter, so maybe?
He could but it's up to him and he likes to mess with people.
What ever happened to that autist who used to spam their OC Shezap? She was red and had twintails. So many images...
No clue. When was the last time they were posted?
I think it would've been while the show was airing. I got out of here for a couple years so idk what happened. Found this from Google
There's another one
>Shebang in 2024
Crazy. I've been trying to find what I can out of curiosity. If anyone has some more let me know
what is what the endgame for white "males" will look like
Want to try asking that again, ESL-kun?
Do wonder if it would be looked upon as favorably now had he stuck with the stocky blue collar worker instead.
I don't think it would have much porn
I doubt it would have been picked up by anyone and if it did it probably would have just been remembered as a gross adult humor show.
