it's by far the best show that has run this long, ever. I've never heard of any tv series doing what it did, starting out bad, having no reason to exist as the show it was created to replace got uncanceled, then getting worse, then somehow pulling out of that and getting better, then getting WAY better after moving to a lesser network. that has neeever happened. I think American Dad must be the reason the Simpsons is still on, they think someday they'll pull out of the nosedive. which they kinda did from 2010-2015, just like family guy did.. but it wouldn't last.
Always Sunny isn't worth watching past the seventh season. The general quality becomes too inconsistent, with every episode being a dice roll that results in either "complete shit" or "just okay".
That said you could probably take all the decent episodes that do exist after that point and make two additional seasons of watchable content.
>it's by far the best show that has run this long
Now that I think about it you're actually right. Arthur had a pretty decent run, but they really shit the bed in the last few seasons. Simpsons is the Simpsons, and anything else is just mediocre.
American Dad got into a real fine groove and stayed pretty consistently entertaining for a good while. I'd argue it's still worth watching even to this day
> The teacher here is the most intense and demanding instructor in all of clowning and shit it’s Roger isn’t it
What an absolute goldmine for a trait that wasn't originally part of his character.

Anyone else not the biggest fan of how Stan seems to bounce between competent badass who is a dumbass and fake tough loser who is a dumbass?
>we could've had garbage but instead we got gold
You say that like American Dad isn't the best Seth MacFarlane show by a country mile. What we got is pretty damn good.

This show is really hit and miss, there are entire boring seasons and it get drastically worse everytime they try to introduce a new character.
It's really telling to me that they even managed to salvage Klaus. He's evolved from a nothing character into a perfect punching bag for everyone.

American Dad is the only current tv show my family watch. 2nd season till now is very good. Way better than it gas to be. It's a miracle.
Steve Sunday stroll
Let's be real... I'm so tired of this sunday stroll bullshit.
I'm grateful they gave Stan teeth.
He has baby teeth.
Roger’s personas are an SSS-tier concept that has helped keep the episodes fresh for years.

didnt they literally reuse this steve design for billy
STELIO
STELIO KONTOS
NO
NOT THE SLIDAKOPITA
>Steve is…LE BETA DESIGN???
What would the show be without roger?
He’s built like a Pepper Ann character
American CHAD and family goy triggers a very certian schizophrenic redditor on Cinemaphile
What is his catchphrase??
Why does he look like the protagonist of Drawn to Life
