Even though there's tons of gore in anime, the most popular shows don't really have any crazy levels of swearing or sex. There's no sex in HxH or Attack on Titan, and outside of edgy fansubs most anime don't even drop f-bombs.

I dunno about DMC and Scott Pilgrim since they're not out yet, but MAWS has pretty bad animation, a very forgettable OST, a throwaway OP/ED, writing that's clearly aimed at little kids despite airing on Adult Swim (that one episode where the CEO homosexual kept calling Superman a cheater was laughable), and is generally not particularly interesting unless you're into the (kinda rushed) romance.
I'd put it on par with your typical low tier seasonal slop.
