Also while both franchises have protags of superior genetic condition (common to virtually all superhero media) one regularly trains to get stronger the other spends all day solving mysteries like Scooby and the gang.
I like manwa better than either because while you'll definitely have OP protagonist stories you'll also find an equal number of them where the protag is inferior in some way and has to work hard to overcome it. Also with manwa there are an unlimited amount of self-insert stories where the protag has to get rich quick to buy enough endangered African animal body parts like Rhino horn to consume to form their golden core of cultivation to become emperor of China/Korea, they really do have a different culture down there. In comics there may be one chapter where the character mentions off-hand working out non-stop despite their stories never covering it and then goes back to OP supergods beating the supergodier person with their bare hands only to get into weird cuck porno situations or "I'm gay now" arcs for like 10 chapters before the universe resets.

Superman isn't really one franchise as much as it is 100 different takes by hundreds of people over the near century he's been around so it's hard to rate as a whole. I think for me, DBZ Saiyan-Cell saga is > most superman stories, but I'd take Superman over pretty much anything Buu Saga onwards.
