Okay okay I finally got over the obnoxious race war bullshit in the first 20 minutes of the movie and I must say I liked the movie.

I was bored and decided to check out the Barbie film and maybe even jerk off to Margot, but even in the first 5 minutes it's just full of Black folk I couldn't watch it.
My wife and I are both pretty racist but we both enjoyed it. The creature design was really good, and I liked the end sequence.
Same
It was just fricking boring. The main dindu can't act, showed no emotion whatsoever. The most entertaining scene was the one with fake aliens.
>The most entertaining scene was the one with fake aliens.
Agreed. I was disappointed the movie wasn't actually about grey aliens.
>fricking moron:"why is this horse trainer who just watched his father die all mopey? why isnt he all chipper like in my bing bing wahoo movies?"
Absolutely seething
To be fair he ruins every movie he is in
It sucked.
The monster was too freaky, I don't even like thinking about it.
It was pretty good. Peele should ditch the racial angles he puts into his movies and just focus on kino.
He basically did ditch it for NOPE, there's no real talk about race besides their family history of training horses. It was entertaining, especially the final showdown. A normal non-pandering film, which is of course why it wasn't talked about as much as his previous films. I wonder if Peele had a moment where he realized he has to keep shoehorning in race in future movies to continue getting critical acclaim.
You’re delusional if you think Peele is capable of making anything not about race.
the black horse trainer aspect mostly felt like an excuse for him to make the film lmao. I do think it's a major creative crutch for him, but it really wasn't particularly relevant to the story
I had the same thought. I imagine it's depressing. I know he looks up to John Carpenter, and his movies stand on their own.
Well wild vs tamed animals is a core theme of the movie, so the main characters had to be animal handlers of some sort. Horses just works because the location of being out in the middle of nowhere and having prey in that open nothing space for the alien to predate on.
get fricked
I didn’t watch if bc I’m not black. I’m pretty sure I was told wasn’t for me, like Black Panther and the other movies nigs told me not to watch.
Das rite ytboi
>Mfw I got a boner when all the people being digested inside the alien suddenly just get crushed & go silent.
As a alien western, its good
Yes schlomo, we know you’re raiding,
i thought it had really bad pacing, editing and acting. the social commentary was really cringe and sometimes confusing. the alien design was okay very overrated. 4/10
Not watching it breh
I liked the part where Jordan Peele tricked everyone into seeing a kaiju movie.
>everyone
not the non-nigs
It flopped
It made almost 200 million on a budget of 68, this is not a flop at all, especially for an R rated horror film marketed as a UFO feature (aliens are not a particularly popular topic for horror these days).
It barely broke even
Nobody watched it
the majority of the movies’s ape related stuff is bad but the opening with the chimp is good, and i like the asian actor guy.
I would rather watch The Beekeeper even though it was vigilante boomer john wick justice porn.
>Get Out
plagiarized from The Skeleton Key (2005)
>Us
plagiarized from a Twilight Zone episode called "Mirror Image"
>Nope
stolen from an SCP about a flying jellyfish monster
>a black director should ditch racial angles and just entertain me with 0 author autonomy, because it offends me as a whitey
You apes are justifying all the anti-racist heavy-handedness that gets put in films.
I don't watch films
I thought it was cool when like 30 people died and nobody had any reaction to it
Also when peele ripped the alien from scp 312
>third silly SF-horror movie in a row from this fricker
Get Out was decent.
Us was horrible.
This was somewhere between the two.
Yeah, Ok Peele.. I think your israeli handlers need to shove their hands up your zesty ass again.
Do you see that cloud?
This part had kino level hype, for the tense leading up moments when no one knows who the frick he is
Then it turns comedy and loses the hype lol
jews unironically pay people (third-worlders) to push shows with non-whites on social media.
yet another intel aviv guerilla marketing thread…
Us and get out are terrible shlock but this is actually interesting. Peele would be such a better director if he was white.
I like how the first half is a spoopy ayy horror movie, and then a little over halfway it shifts gears and becomes a spielberg-esque high spirited monster hunt romp. Fun film
>It was a one-eyes one-horned flying purple people eater...
>...sure looks strange to me
He's all style, zero substance.
