it was a small town, everyone was fricking each other. I had a reputation for fricking with my friends sisters too all of which came on to me first. This was one of my biggest regrets. I was a strapping monster of a teenager and had several girls throw themselves at me and one of my GFs offered me a threesome once, but I was so emotionally turbulent and I had convinced myself that I didn't want to be "just another dumb guy" and that my life needed to have depth or something so I turned it all down thinking I was being mature. I'm 30 now and all I wish for is that I had fricked around, maybe I wouldn't be so maladjusted

I found out my ex (who is 8 years younger than me), gave her son the same name as me. First and middle. And we haven’t spoken in probably seven years. It could just be a coincidence, but I know the boy’s father and we don’t share any names.

I don’t get why she’d do it, but I was her first real boyfriend, I took her virginity, and we were briefly engaged.

One day years after my grandpa died, having lunch with my family my mom and grandmother started talking about some literally who 14 year old kid on the beach that my grandma saw when she was her age.
My mom said that it was endearing that she would always be in love with him and my grandma didnt disagree.
Thats when I had enough and started calling them, saying if they implied that it was a mistake not to fall for that kid and marry my grandpa instead, and if the existance of my own mom and me then it was also a mistake, and how the frick did they get the nerve to say such a thing with my grandpa dead, that they had implied they had been living a lie, a lie that resulted in my existence.
They told me to calm down and that it wasnt that big of a deal, that it wasnt that bad. Bullshit.
I told them what great examples of modern women they were, the spawn of chaos, and how totally oblivious they were of the pain they could cause with their words. I told them to really think of what they had said and what it meant for my grandpa and for me and my sister.
The topic was never brought on but I dont think they understood either, my mom has never worked a day and still complains about my dad not having enough money sometimes.
Women are really God's test on men.
How many women have nagged their husband to death, preventing him from doing countless of things, spending all their money and then one day, without any kind of alert, say shit like "it was a mistake meeting you", "I shouldnt have married you" and shit like that and then act surprised so many of them end up in several places at the same time.

That's just life man, her remembering this guy she wasn't able to be with from a long time ago, doesn't mean she's not happy with marrying your grandfather, or that she's disowning you. Or maybe she didn't really love your grandfather, but life isn't perfect, and here you are, so so what? Did you really think your birth was just the ultimate love story? People are complicated, they fight, they have long form resentment, sometimes they literally do remember their first love fondly after having spent 60 years with someone else. That's just life, man.

The same differences that are present in you and your fellow men are present in women and other women.
The kind of woman to have a tik tok account posting shit like this will only love a man that compliments her own personality because she's narcissistic.
Your perspective of "women" is biased towards these women exclusively because only these kind of women are visible to internet inhabitants like anons. The woman you would love does not use tik tok, so her opinions and personality is not shared here and therefore she's invisible to you.

She was right to leave the snake guy, although she never should have dated him in the first place, but wtf is wrong with being a car guy? That's like the most normie innocuous hobby someone can have.

        Anonymous

Being a car guy is a much more annoying hobby than bird watching or having a snake. The snake moves like 1mph, lives in a box, and is basically docile since its food is provided for. Bird watching is literally going outdoors and appreciating the beauty of nature. Working on cars is also an intellectually legitimate hobby, but you literally need an entire garage or driveway's worth of space to work on cars, let alone store any significant amount of tools and supplies. I guess if you just work on your daily driver that cuts down on space, but then you'll inevitably have days when the car is fricked because of hobby work. If the guy is just into looking at or watching cars then it's literally no different than bird watching, although more soulless since cars are just manmade appliances, not living creatures with natural beauty

Women used to like cars because nice cars were a status signal. Thus, a "car guy" was sexually appealing and people think it's because he has a nice car/several cars and talks about them constantly.
Actually women just liked the status/knowing the guy was rich, and thus the car guy prattling doesn't interest her at all. She stopped caring as soon as he said how much the car he spends all weekend repairing was worth, rest of the details don't matter

Why do women desire things merely for their perceived desirability? Why do they find taboo things appealing?

            Anonymous

perceived desirability is tied to status. If you have the desired object you have status and are displaying your status as a member of the in-group to others.
Everyone finds taboo things appealing, but women are the primary market catered to by advertisers and media conglomerates, so their taboo desires are blasted in popular media.
The taboo things here are stuff like inflation blueberry porn, necrophilia, and vore. That shit only gets let out "accidentally" in kids shows.

No, women like expensive cars as a status symbol, but when you smell like oil and your car is a shitbox you enjoy fixing on your spare time, that drives them over the wall because you can enjoy things that don't include them, just like the first guy and his birds

Because in Cinemaphile you NEED to have your post either be funny or controversial in order to get attention. It naturally weeds out terrible jokes as they don't get attention rather than having to rely on groupthink and herd mentality where this post with more likes means its funny. Cinemaphile was posting and making gigachad edits for months before it was mainstream and now its apart of gen alpha lingo, not to mention the very terms chad and stacey also came from here

I'm still a virgin now at 28 despite having girls literally drag me into the bedroom at parties. I was so dead set on not having sex for fun and only do it for love with a girl worth marrying. It caused women to literally hate me and tell this to all their friends and I was basically blacklisted by everyone including guys who didn't want anything to do with me. I was by far one of the most popular kids back then (age 14-19) but after school I shut myself in completely and pretty much gave up. Haven't been on dates in 6 years at this point as none of the girls I have spoken to wants to get married or have kids.

At no point does it say in the film that she had a husband of 70 years. She has had a kid but that could have just been a pump and dump. In disowning her family and faking "Rose's" death by taking up the Name Dawson she would have just been another penniless steerage passenger.

She would likely have been sent to Plymouth in the UK, with other Steerage survivors and crew and just dumped on the streets there.

As she had no skills other than maybe being able to pass herself off as a bit posh and a willingness to flop her baps out for Irishmen, she would probably have ended up in Plymouth's Barbican as a prostitute and later brothel madame as its clear she made some money eventually.

Every time a sailor or Irish navy nailed her and left after paying she was probably thinking of Jack and the one time she enjoyed sex in that car. THAT is why she thinks of Jack as she is dying, in those 100 years it was the last time she was actually happy. The rest of her life was so shit, the day Titanic sank and she lost the love of her life was one of the happiest days of it.

Fricking depressing, but true. Live long enough and the memories of your life will be like that too.

(picture unrelated, but that should at least be happier to look at than the sour old bag of spanners Rose turned into)

Fake photos made to garner an air of respectability so the people will take her on the boat to where she last saw her Irish boy toy who she murdered by not letting him get on the door too or take turns.

She is a cold, calculating, evil former brothel madam and prozzie, I really wouldn't put it past her to concoct a fake story to cover that. Evil to her core.

I had a house mate more than 20 years ago at uni who I fancied like mad, lots of lewd stuff happened between us but never so much that we became lovers and I regret being such a shy boy as if I had shown a bit of gumption and properly ravished her we would have probably gone out and fricked etc, might even still be with her now. If I wasn't married I would love to just frick her brains out to this day, but we lost contact before I became a confident person and just let her slip away. I looked her up on facebook the other day and she is single but looked up a few pics of her ex-boyfriends and they all looked pretty similar to me, so she probably was just wanting me to step up and stop being such a wuss, as she certainly has a "type".

I am happily married and I love my wife far more than I ever did my old house mate, but you always remember that one person, even if in the grand scheme of things it meant nothing.

She promptly blocks me on social media but I found her home address a while back and send her postcards. Her husband probably doesn't like it. I don't care. I just want to be friends with her. The restraining order was dumb, it's not like I even went to her house more than that one time. She keeps changing jobs every time I find out where she works too. It's very annoying having to try to find her again when she moves to a new city.

The biggest difference between your wife and this deceased gf is a "could have been" factor. You never got to marry this other girl and see the reality of what would have been, therefor it will remain a could have been in your mind forever. The situation lends itself to rose tinted thinking, compared to the reality of your wife. Be grateful for what is, not what could have been.

That's fair, but she isn't the love of your life by definition. Your wife is. It's not only unproductive for your marriage to think of her as the love of your life, but also illogical. All that's left is what could have been, which is a bitter pill to swallow.

    >relationship ended because her moronic family convinced her to go to Europe and her older sister in particular was vocal she wanted us to break up (because I was a couple years older than her was the reason she gave, but I believe it was jealousy, because my ex did tell me her sister at one point randomly told her she had romantic dreams about me)
I still think about her every day, but now I am dating a different white girl, I will be completely honest she ain't pretty, a 4/10 while my ex was 8/10, and the new one wasn't a virgin either, but she is so much more loving, as an example, while dating the new girl I reached my lowest point economically, and the new girl didn't mind she bought me things, took care of me, fed me, I was so impressed. The problem is that while I love her (or maybe I am just grateful?), I know deep down I don't love her as much as the girl whose virginity I took. What do I do, do I just go with the flow and keep dating this girl maybe eventually truly falling in love with her?
