Once & Future is one of the best ongoing books currently coming out and Cinemaphile is always too busy b***hing about some idiotic culture war outrage of the week topic to ever talk about it.

It ends with a female King Arthur & written by Kieron Gillen. Why would I read it?

because the only other King Arthur comics right now is Starhenge and Tini Howard Excalibur books which are bad (well maybe not Starhenge but Sharp is not a great writer) so Once and Future wins by default

        This looks like shit anon.

The best adaptations of Arthurian lore have Arthur be a woman.
This is fact and beyond dispute.

Fate was bad in 2004 and it is still bad now.

Look, just because Jesus hanged out with marginalized people that society back then looked down upon, hated and despised that wouldn't mean he'd hang out with the same type of people or their modern equivalents today, okay. Jesus today would be for rich getting tax cuts and demonizing anyone who doesn't adhere to a narrow minded religious puritanism.

I get that he's a straw man but nobody 2000s year ago would be pro gay and especially pro troony. The idea alone of mutilating the human form because god put the wrong soul is the wrong body is moronic and incompatible with any Abrahamic belief.

The book had an interesting premise but Kieron got lost on his own ass and failed to deliver a satisfactory conclusion. The variant Arthurs get hyped up just to go down like a b***h, and the Norman Galahad just outright vanishes from the plot, Lancelot is just a way to let Mary b***h and moan about her idiocy fricking up her Galahad and we're supposed to feel bad for her?

Really, Mora's art is the only good thing the book has at this point

      >The book had an interesting premise but Kieron got lost on his own ass and failed to deliver a satisfactory conclusion.
that seems to be the same as most of Gillian's Indie work then as this sentence could be applied to his other works like DIE or Wicked+Divine
