The way Marvel has phrased this book is this is O5 from Bendis' All New X-Men and X-Men Blue coming Back to the Future. So expect gay Iceman, psychic Jean and Hot Wings Warren.

Beast was fine after Legacy Virus. Morally grey Beast was great. Beast only went to shit when Fraction and Ellis’s wildly different takes on the character turned him into a massive hypocrite, then Aaron and Bendis doubled down.
You could even argue he was still redeemable up till the Percy stuff.
Hank's character was ruined once they started to shill the rightclops shit, which was also Scott's own character assassination thanks to morrisson aping him with Emma and the cuckoos.
