I like the message of this show that you can't just make a peaceful end to a conflict this big between kingdoms and monsters. Usually, Jeramie would be the protagonist in this type of show, but he's the well-intentioned extremist rival in this one.

Considering that he spent like 2000 years crafting his story, Jeramie reminds me of those series which dragged itself for quite some time then suddenly rushing to the ending. Like just because the stage is set for the finale, that doesn't mean that the dangling plot threads are gone. In this case, the plot thread being the conflict between Bugnarok and humanity.
The issue with Jeramie is that he's too much of a pretentious, flippant homosexual to not speak in riddles and vagueries then he gets into an autistic shitfit when people can't understand his logic.

These threads really died off in activity. Its understandable when the first few episodes of the show were absolute bangers, and they've slowly been getting more and more boring as they stretch out the plot for a whole seasons worth of episodes.

There's just not much to talk about the way they're doing the plot.
It sort of clashes with the Super Sentai monster of the week formula, I know the monsters could feel tacked on ih Donbrothers but here it feels like they are getting in the way of the story or something. Although the MotW becoming Jeremai's retainer equivalent was plot there's not much to him that makes me care.
They don't have any moments that feel 'normal', like normal mundane slice of life sentai stuff. We see Kings runninb their Kingdom but King life and geopolitics are not really normal mundane life. If that makes any sense. It's like there's no breathing roim or something.
The constant green screens and LCD screen backgrounds make it really weird too
This episode isn't exactly that great. It's just fart jokes that aren't funny at all, Yanma's assistant being awful, Gira being Sebas, and Jeramie not explaining anything to anyone. How was anyone supposed to figure out his mother gave him the gun? Not to mention Jeramie purposely played tricks on everyone that seemed genuinely dangerous.
The MotW was probably the best part about it because he was basically just a normal person trying to help his king.

Yanma's absolute giddiness about them and his exuberance at making Racles look like stupid dumb butthole, Imaginary Racles' reaction to it, and the hijinks in Yanma becoming victim of his own wicked epic prank while he tries to play it off as nothing was fricking hilarious though.

I rather like Jeramie's character flaw in his being so entrenched in story-telling and narratives that he is incapable of saying things straight up and constantly expects others to read in between the lines of his comments. Yanma's mental review of their conversation reveals that, no, Jeramie did not in fact tell him the gun was particularly precious to him straight up. He's 2000 years old with most human (or Bugnarok) contact being through the telling of stories so I can definitely get why he acts like this, not being able to say things straight up and preferring to give his side of things through anecdotes or subtle hints, as he would with his writing. It definitely helps establish his 'trickster story-telling spider' Anansi thing
Though I do hope they address that is in fact a flaw and not something the other kings should just tolerate without question, Yanma was kind of a dick but he can't expect all the kings to be mindreaders at all times. 0:39 to 0:41 is identical to how vertical maneuvering equipment movement looks like, even down to the fact that they're in a street that looks straight out of the manga and the fact that Jeramie is shooting it out of his hips. Come on man, this is the show that literally had their first episode with Bugnarok attacking their walls even with their own bootleg take on Monkey Trouble leading the charge.

He's the guy who wrote a carefully crafted narrative he expects his players to follow to the letter and attempts to railroad everyone all the time into following it but gets pissed off when everyone and everything goes off script and fricks with his perfect design because he has no idea how to ad-lib or improvise according to player actions
Between these last two years, Sentai does not know what to do with their MotW plots anymore. Can't be suit budget issues, Zenkai and Kira still managed to give us some greats despite the open reuse.
He probably recreated the current five based on the documents (or at this point stories) by Jeramie while an original is still with Racles. I wouldn't be surprised if the one who assassinated Himeno's parents has an original too.
