you have to admit the story is going EXTREMELY fast right now, the reveal of King Caucasus kabuto and God Kingohger, as well as the crownlance are regularly things that are revealed until late october/mid november, and yer we are just entering august.
then we have the 2 big mysteries of the story: Gira's true nature and the Wrath of the Gods, with the former just about to be revealed this month tops and the latter that could be revealed alongside the final arc.
i dont know if those rumors are true, and i havent even seen them, but... come on. is it really that absurd?
There's always the possibility of a different faction once the current stuff is handled similar to Goseiger. Like maybe there's a precedent prior to Jeremy's parents that Bugnarok and humans were friendly only to be manipulated into going to war with each other.
Or they could always just go with filler and put the plot on hold.

Isn't this how almost every has worked in the past 25ish years? Once the initial set of bad guys are defeated, a bigger badder group jumps in.
Abaranger, Hurricanger, Goseiger, and I'm sure many more.
Considering what happened last season, i really wouldn't hold my breath that any mystery in a post-Donbrothers Sentai is gonna have a satisfying conclusion.

Donbros' mysteries and questions were left unanswered because Inoue deemed them 'not important' to the actual story and message he wanted to bring.

the answers to all those questions are basically 'who cares! they just are and are not important to MY vision! i am such a high profile auteur!!!', which leads to the fact that Kingohger is not directed by Inoue or any other auteur-type moron.
if this ends soon Bandai would have new Sentai and Rider toys coming out around the same time again, which should be more than enough to make that claim sound fake
that is kinda the problem: where else can your arsenal go after GOD kingohger? also, the superform was already revealed.
the only closest thing would be the reveal that the other kings can also use the crown and get their own superforms, but the crown toy only has sounds for Kingkuwagataohger, not to mention the toy doesnt seem to have a MicroSD slot for updates (feel free to correct me).

Im really tired of seeing the same Shuggodam npc civilians every episode too. It feels more like a stage than a place whereas usually despite being heavily influenced by stages and having them for robot fights you're not in a weird uncanny CGI place 90% of the time. If that makes any goddamn sense?
I didn't realize before but I think I watch toku for rural Japanese scenery or something. And episodic plot in its purest form. So I cant tell if Im getting much out of this show or not

This isn't actually much better than Donbros. The Rival Ranger's robo is still CGI, and while the big combos are suits this time around, it came with the trade-off of having the individual 6th and power-up robos be CGI when they were physical suits in Donbros.
Is it typical for a modern Sentai to have all the main robots show up so early? We've barely seen the smaller weapon Shu God's do anything, yet it looks like God King Ohger might show up before we even get to ep 25.
I honestly kinda hate how rushed things feel, and how even though theres an interesting plot going they still try to cram in a monster kill every episode. Makes it feel cheap and over done when its done EVERY TIME. I know thats part of sentai, but man, some of these baddies they bring in seem like they would be great to hang around for a few episodes before they bite the dust. Make the monster fights have more impact instead of where now they just have a fast forwarded robot combination and then super attack that kills the monster instantly.
That new lightning dude that could stun the shugods looked awesome. But nah, just 30sec of screen time and then dead.
I guess Im just expecting it to feel more like an anime, instead of a sentai show. I wish it had kept that same quality the first few episodes of the series had. Amazing robot fights and martial arts stuff going on. An interesting and slower paced tone with each episode introducing each member and their kingdom. It was great.

Green screen was pretty bad this episode. Lots of real objects jerking around and popping off the "ground" while the background image stayed in place.
