It looks like it's from one of the Gundam series, probably the Universal Century since that looks like a GM getting kicked around by some kind of Zeon mobile suit. Don't know if it is a Gouf model. Doesn't look like a Zaku.

Yeah, I don't really watch much current Anime these days unless it's old school Anime. Same with Hollywood. I watched the Pacific Rim sequel and regret doing so, same with a bunch of films from the 2010s.
I can't get past the method of control for the mechas. Everything else is kino and I don't mind the dual brain shit but having gay exercise machines in the wienerpit and these homosexuals are running, punching and kicking is gay as frick. Nobody wants to watch people play vr games. They want to see the screen the player is looking at.
shit take. you mean like ironman telling arbys to do all this shit whilst we look at the hud? sounds great man. its a throw back to jap mecha kinoshows you brainlet.
My opinion is what it is. If the two pilots had been side by side in a normal wienerpit with control sticks and pedals and switches and toggles and shit it would have worked fine with 90% less supergay shit.
Pacific Rim is one of the few movies I'm glad I own a Blu-Ray of. Once a year when I want to watch big robots beat up monsters it's always worth a watch. There is no sequel.
Because, despite the idiotic premise of "le nuke only goes on striker", the two kaijus were trying catch all three jaegers with their pants down.
The chinks and cherno jobbed hard and even if striker struck earlier, the emp would have fricked up everything anyway.
Because he was a flawed character. This can be seen by his continued insistence on banning Mako from piloting with Raleigh, even when two Category 4 kaiju had spawned. There were more reasons to field the Gypsy instead of leaving it behind, given the desperate nature of the operation. He wanted to make a plan and stick to it, and since Striker was totally critical to it working he viewed the other two as being expendable. It was all around a pretty shit plan, but it was his and he demanded obedience.
It was a real original monster & mecha kino, good enough plot and great soundtrack. The kind of movie you watch with your kid and both have a good time.
How long until we get something liket his again?
Idk man most of the time the movie is at night which is really boring, the characters apart from the comic relief are shit and the kaiju are pretty generic. overall very mid.
This movie is everything pacific rimjob was trying to be, a silly, fun entertaining movie but it succeeded where rimjob failed. Also has more heart and a better cast too.
They even managed to stay true to it with little details like the shape of the enemy shells and other things I don't remember but am certain were there.
Yes, OP. Its kino. Best mech movie made by Murica, no doubt about it.
But could have been even better if the science duo and hannibal were not that cringe. The bond between Mako and black dude was also lame.
Del Toro is great at mech-monster deisgn, but a shitty writer. At least the movie had a solid cenography.
About the sequel, it was mad by moronic corp. + Boyega for chink audience. All the unique essence of PR1 was gone here. Plot was not bad, pretty ok, but Jesus frick... the casting was pure shit (Boyega, cringe teenager, lame teenager, edgy teenager...).
Yeah, and better effects to be honnest
Battleship = ways and ways better than I expected
Pacific Rim(job) = So much worse than I ever expected
Such an odd career because he pretty objectively elevates Attack the Block, but he's a fricking lead weight dragging down everything else he touches
Ah well, guess he just one o' them peculiar bucks
Same problems as the first one, too much talking.
Somehow the characters are even less likable and develop less.
Also they don't fight the final boss it just gets taken out by an orbital strike.
I think Pacific Rim is kind of a lame movie. It's not bad, a solid 7 but I feel like it could've been so much more. The movie has the same issues of Godzilla 2014 where 80% of it is people talking about relatively uninteresting things before some /m/ kino kicks in.
It was indeed kino and by far the best live-action mech movie ever in my opinion (which is honestly not saying much). Mori was cute.
A shame that it never got a sequel.
I liked the first one. It felt very believable like what it would actually look like if we had giant mechs in real life.
The second one was stupid with the mechs doing somersaults and sprinting like they were done with human mocap
thank you kino checker
Doing what God demands, Anon.
>Sequelgays
no such thing
Based.
Real.
Uprising was better in every way that matters.
There is not a single person that believes this to be true. Not the people that watched it, not the people that will watch it, not the people even involved in the production or marketing believe this.
Please log out of Cinemaphile instantly John nobody liked you in star wars either.
No such thing as PR sequelgays. In fact, I'll even go ahead and say there's no such thing as a PR sequel.
we got this slop instead of Hellboy 3
Hellboy 3 was never getting made.
not with that attitude.
Hellboy 2 was already too redditish
How was it reddit? Its one of the most soulful blockbusters ever made.
first movie was
hellboy 2 is much, much better than the first one
Nope.
wrong
we are heckin cancelling the apocalypse!!!
Guillermo del Taco is a shitty pretentious filmmaker and people who enjoy his dogshit films are morons.
Hellboy and Pacific Rim are kino. Blade 2 is decent. His awards bait is terrible though.
Yeah his award bait shit is awful. That movie where the deaf lady was in love with the fish man was atrocious
nah
>jaja robots go boom
>monsters look kewl whey
>pretentious
he is just Michael Bay with an actual artistic sensibility
Why couldn't they just make the sequel the same as the first one? All it needed was more cool monsters and I would have watched it.
One of the great action movies of the 10s honestly.
It's incredible how they failed to understand what made the first movie good really.
Because it was made by gig labor Hollywood hacks instead of autistic /m/en.
This webm is sick, what is this?
It looks like it's from one of the Gundam series, probably the Universal Century since that looks like a GM getting kicked around by some kind of Zeon mobile suit. Don't know if it is a Gouf model. Doesn't look like a Zaku.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway
Yeah, I don't really watch much current Anime these days unless it's old school Anime. Same with Hollywood. I watched the Pacific Rim sequel and regret doing so, same with a bunch of films from the 2010s.
Gundam Hathaway.
The MC is boring as frick, even for anime standards and there's only 2-3 action scenes.
can't see shit capn
get a better screen, your probably a phone user
now u know why the rest of us have 4K OLED HDR10 screens
the problem is the new director is a hack while guillermo del toro has talent.
Because Basedega attarched himself as a producer and demanded moronic changes.
I can't get past the method of control for the mechas. >lemme tell you how robojox is better than pacific rim
you are in error
All I'm telling you is two people side by side in bowflex machines is big gay.
I saw this in a cinema and I can honestly say it's one of the best movies I have ever seen.
>tfw going to the beach and walking around the surf pretending you're a jaeger
>not walking along a snowy newly-plowed road casually kicking over snow along the sidewalk pretending your a kaiju
NGMI
>tfw 29 years old and still doing it
>tfw will keep doing it at 50
>tfw will keep doing it as long as I can go in the water
You cannot stop me
This movie ripped off the giant robots from spy kids 3D
Pacific Rim is one of the few movies I'm glad I own a Blu-Ray of. Once a year when I want to watch big robots beat up monsters it's always worth a watch. There is no sequel.
>ausgays calling for help
>can easly 3v1
>says "no"
>everyone gets their shit pushed within a matter of seconds
why'd he do it?
Because, despite the idiotic premise of "le nuke only goes on striker", the two kaijus were trying catch all three jaegers with their pants down.
The chinks and cherno jobbed hard and even if striker struck earlier, the emp would have fricked up everything anyway.

>After having rewatched it, I can absolutely say it was kino.
based
>Sequelgays need not reply.
based
Based except it never got a sequel and that's better than the alternative.
The pregnant monster thing was really well done, I never imagined seeing a monster fetus onscreen
It was a real original monster & mecha kino, good enough plot and great soundtrack. The kind of movie you watch with your kid and both have a good time.
How long until we get something liket his again?
why the Cinemaphile hivemind likes the movie so much?
It's really good dumb fun than never tries to be intellectual (like Snyder's capeshit) and doesn't have forced quips (like Marvel capeshit)
Idk man most of the time the movie is at night which is really boring, the characters apart from the comic relief are shit and the kaiju are pretty generic. overall very mid.
It's not cynical or smarmy or full of quips. Also a good theme.
how? dumb robot designs. absolutely moron control method. and the monsters were generic concept art cgi
Battleship > Pacific Rim
Battlechads reporting in!
Wait what? Is that a thing here?
>same gayging
Wait what? Is that a thing here?
You absolute primate
Not him but unless he’s a dog behind the keyboard yes he’s most likely a primate
This movie is way more soulful than pacific rimjob
Yeah, and better effects to be honnest
Battleship = ways and ways better than I expected
Pacific Rim(job) = So much worse than I ever expected
I love it when chicks breasts get pokey
Ready for duty Sir!
This movie is everything pacific rimjob was trying to be, a silly, fun entertaining movie but it succeeded where rimjob failed. Also has more heart and a better cast too.
>watch this
>can't stop laughing at Rhiannas ridiculously large hat
It had soul, but it was shit.
people were prejudiced against this because it was based on a board game. This shit slept on fr.
They even managed to stay true to it with little details like the shape of the enemy shells and other things I don't remember but am certain were there.

Hahhahaha, homie NO.
Get the rope.
Never saw the sequel cause no Del Toro and basically none of the original cast was back. Why did it suck? Besides the two reasons I listed lol
Such an odd career because he pretty objectively elevates Attack the Block, but he's a fricking lead weight dragging down everything else he touches
Ah well, guess he just one o' them peculiar bucks
Apparently it was his idea to make the robots move faster.
Same problems as the first one, too much talking.
Somehow the characters are even less likable and develop less.
Also they don't fight the final boss it just gets taken out by an orbital strike.
It panders to chinks in a soft power way which is weird.
It has 20 minutes of kino wrapped in shit, making it nonkino on average. Check your kinometer anon.
I think Pacific Rim is kind of a lame movie. It's not bad, a solid 7 but I feel like it could've been so much more. The movie has the same issues of Godzilla 2014 where 80% of it is people talking about relatively uninteresting things before some /m/ kino kicks in.
If this is really the reason we live in kaiju renaissance now it was all wroth it.
The opening of Battleship is better than the entirety of Pacific Rim
Guillermo was in his slop era when he made this joint. This and crimson peak or as I call it peak cringe are terrible.
It is a legitimate Kino Bino.
It was extremely kino in the theater.
EVA is better
It was indeed kino and by far the best live-action mech movie ever in my opinion (which is honestly not saying much). Mori was cute.
A shame that it never got a sequel.
I watched Pacific Rim in the theater, and I can honestly say I can't remember a single character or detail. That says it all.
>I'm a moron
ya
Yes it is pretty gosh darn kino. Fun play on giant monster vs robot.
What's with the Battleship samegayging ITT?
the sequels had nice chicks but they were wasted. they even gave cailee long hair. what were they thinking?
I liked the first one. It felt very believable like what it would actually look like if we had giant mechs in real life.
The second one was stupid with the mechs doing somersaults and sprinting like they were done with human mocap
Cherno will never not look like a frog to me. It's the cutest jaeger and deserved better
But the sequel has the new favorite not Sith waifu in it.
Really speaks to how horrible it was if not even prime dicky could save it.
Basically her character and the Evangelion Bardiel/Unit-03/MP Eva ripoff Kaiju/Jaeger Drone hybrids were the only good part.
why are 2 people controlling 1 arm, why are they sitting in some truck cabin wienerpit like they're not experiencing insane Gs
dumb movie, megas XLR makes more sense than this robot
It's too bad the premiere Japanese Jaeger folded 1,000 times wasn't featured in its giant monster movie.
lőrs reaction?
It somehow managed to make giant mechs vs. monsters boring.
