Man I was Never a fan of Beating my Kids since I got my ass kicked so much as a child, but looking at todays generation makes me understand why my parents didn't put up with my shit.
I used to have constant panic attacks and it pisses me off how theyre using them in animation just to artificially "elevate" the movie. Besides, a panic attack is not LE LOUD BREATHING like those turds think.
Or it's just one movie had one scene and another movie from the same studio had a joke line of dialogue about the same subject, and you find this to be enough to consider it the zeitgeist of the entire American culture.
Eventually it just turns into dopamine and then you’re left chasing that outrage high again and again. I’ve left so many hate posts on /vt/ over nothing just because I don’t like the way some b***h sounds. It feels even better when you bait some moron into defending some internet celebrity cause your shit post triggered them too. It’s a viscous cycle and it sustains me.
It feels extra good because it’s one of the few places where you know the internet celebrities you trash lurk too. I’ll probably be one of those people who watches Fox News when I turn 50 or something just to get angry about the news.
It's less that the movie drew attention to it and more like cartoon fans on social media used it to prop up PIB:TLW which they all decided was the savior of western animation even though there wasn't a whole lot special about it
>we could have had a nicely written and well animated movie about a swashbuckling cat >twitter troonies ruin it with their obsession to boost it to the masses
>we could have had a nicely written and well animated movie about a swashbuckling cat
We did >twitter troonies ruin it with their obsession to boost it to the masses
does not change that at all
Well what happens in that scene? Endless animations have shown panic, people freezing up, extreme stress under pressure etc. I'm pretty sure a few have had a neurotic character scream about having a panic attack before the scene moves on. I think PiB is the only one that actually dwells on it, trying to sympathetically depict for the audience what a panic attack feels like and taking a good minute or two for the character to be in that state and then slowly calm down.
I hope it's the only time it gets shown that way and doesn't become a trend. It was fine as a novel thing but should stay that way. A novelty sequence in one movie.
People are being wound up constantly by the media. We’re perpetually plugged in via phone and being fed a constant stream of whatever holds our attention which is usually flavored with outrage or fear. Of course panic attacks are becoming more common.
I'm gonna be honest I'm not a fan of the new Kraken movie. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see more Krakens in film, but this entire movie isn't' my cuppa tea. It's more a girls movie than anything else.
Hi, just decided to drop by in this here shitty bait thread. Wow, that bait sure is shitty, huh? Anyways how are you guys doin? Read anything cool lately?
It's an irrational sense of dread that sends you into an intense state of panic. Difficulty breathing isn't always a symptom but can happen depending on the intensity. On top of that, a panic attack can last for hours at a time. It can even cause physical illnesses to occur similar to a flu.
there is a Difference between saying your having a panic attack an having a actual Panic Attack. Puss in Boots had a legit well played out Panic attack to a rational fear of Death. Don't know how it's going to be played out in the Teenage Kraken movie, but if she's announcing she is having a panic attack it's seams like its being set up as a joke in the movie.
I don't know maybe some poeple do scream out "I'm having a Panic attak" in a comical fashion in real life and are rush to the hospital for it, but to most normal people this is a funny situation.
Not all humans are equal. Children should see upstanding humans who are not psychologically frail failures. A lot of people online want characters to be just as bad as they are, and they are wrong
>A lot of people online want characters to be just as bad as they are, and they are wrong
Agreed the "be better" message has been replaced with the "It's OK to be XY&Z" and its destroying these kids now a days. kids are finding role models in the weakest of characters, and now they are growing up to be like THIS
Cinemaphile knows what a panic attack is, we just don't understand the modern day rationality for having one.
I feel the next 40 years of their lives are gone be hell for them growing up and funny as frick to me
>zoomers when grandma misgenders them
If I had a penny for every gender, I'd have one, very loud and annoying penny
They need a good disciplinary beating like what their parents and grandparents and great-grandparents etc
experienced
Man I was Never a fan of Beating my Kids since I got my ass kicked so much as a child, but looking at todays generation makes me understand why my parents didn't put up with my shit.
This is played for laughs.
I used to have constant panic attacks and it pisses me off how theyre using them in animation just to artificially "elevate" the movie. Besides, a panic attack is not LE LOUD BREATHING like those turds think.
>panic attacks are considered "woke" on Cinemaphile now
How does it feel to be angry all of the time for no reason?
I never said it was "woke" though? Has the imaginary boogeyman haunted your mind?
People got tired real quick of "neurodivergents".
This is the "broader appeal" version of that.
Questions?

Feels like I'm having a panic attack!
1. Who said woke 2. There are people who prefer putting their miserable adult issues in front of kids to entertaining them
That's different than children's cartoon characters idiot.
YOU just decided that.
OP just said it seems to be a trend.
Frick off, Black person!
Careful you hit a nerve with some people here.
> Tumblrites turning on each other
Love to see it
Cinemaphile knows what a panic attack is, we just don't understand the modern day rationality for having one.
The modern day rationality is that there is something chemically wrong in your brain. It is not normal and should not be depicted as normal.
Funny, no one said "woke" except you
hows it feel to be constantly in a state of panic all the time for no reason fatlord
kek, nice job. look at all those people who didnt care about what you said
Probably one of those things that's been around awhile but people are just noticing it now because PIB drew attention to it.
I don't think Cinemaphile itself even made this many threads about MCU Iron Man having panic attacks due to his PTSD.
because Twitter never talked about it, Cinemaphile only spams threads on stuff if it's popular on Twitter
It's less that the movie drew attention to it and more like cartoon fans on social media used it to prop up PIB:TLW which they all decided was the savior of western animation even though there wasn't a whole lot special about it

We did
>twitter troonies ruin it with their obsession to boost it to the masses
does not change that at all
Stop going on twitter, solved your problem.
Pic related was really mediocre and forgettable. TLW is the good one.
>battle between two monster girl kaijus
If you don't think this is peak kino then you're an actual gay. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

Great, can't wait for months of morons posting that joke scene to bait newbies who take it at face value and shit themselves
People are being wound up constantly by the media. We’re perpetually plugged in via phone and being fed a constant stream of whatever holds our attention which is usually flavored with outrage or fear. Of course panic attacks are becoming more common.
I think I’m having a heart attack.
WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK? YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER!
I still miss him, bros
Same. James was also an impressive voice actor too.
same bro it got worse
Just lie down in this pillowy mound of mashed potatoes
Stop being woke Uncle Phil
I want to see this movie on theaters but I don't want to be the only adult there.
Don't be such a fricking pussy. In the extremely unlikely event that someone asks you why you're there, say you're a reviewer
kidnap a child and bring it with you
I hate neurodivergent homosexuals and i hate tumblr refugees
That is all
Do you want to talk about why you hate yourself?
These people seem like they're fibrillated.
I'm gonna be honest I'm not a fan of the new Kraken movie. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see more Krakens in film, but this entire movie isn't' my cuppa tea. It's more a girls movie than anything else.
leave chelsea to me
Wrong board

100% certain ive seen this thread with the same replies and images posted a few weeks back
I hope not. My mental illness that's kept me from interacting with people & afraid to even get a job is not some fashion statement.
Yes
But she said that as a joke
What even is a panic attack? Can't breathe or something because you get too emotional? Harden up.

Shell shock is only interesting and empathizing when it affects soldiers, not sheltered zoomers with zero work ethic or life skill.
That's a completely different thing.
I think it's being played as a joke here, thoughever
>Characters expressing their humanity is bad now
I hate all of you
>muh humanity
They're not human moron, now go take your Prozac homosexual

>IS MY CHARACTER RELATABLE NOW!?!?
And they went to a strike for this, lmao
Because of how long films take to make, it's not intentional. But it's super fricking funny it happened in like 4 or 5 films in quick succession.
white people when you tell them there will be realistic panic attacks in the movie
