it's a perfectly reasonable explanation, but it's still a show that had three amazing seasons and just dropped off astronomically. i can't forgive a bad show, and that's what spongebob has been for a much longer time than it was good, but i don't really think that was the fault of Paul or really any of the creative staff given the problems of working with such a massive IP
