This movie is fun as hell. I love the chase scene at the start, the stuff with Jango is great, the final scene on Geonosis is pure kino from start to finish.

It's like a modern marvel movie with star wars stuff haphazardly slapped on.
Literally everything about it is 10/10, Jango is fricking badass as hell with dual pistols, there's a sick water planet where it always rains, there's an awesome car chase in like a cyberpunk city. An army of clones attacks this planet where they're manufacturing weapons and there's this huge scale battle where they're blowing up these gigantic spaceships. Anakin gets into this tense fight with count Dooku & gets his hand cutoff. Portman's tummy is out. There's a sick decapitation. Everything about it is god tier except some gay shit only a theater kid would give a frick about like "dialogue".
Those movies are garbage, like someone crumpled up tin foil and threw it at the screen. I have to actually be able to tell what's going on. I've yet to see a good reason why cool entertaining shit is supposed to be bad somehow other than "Oh, some of the dialogue is bad!" It doesn't fricking matter Black person holy frick. Nobody watches these for the fricking dialogue

I personally love it. Great worldbuilding, adventure, and exploration. It dives deepest into the SW universe. Too much CGI is a fair criticism, wish they had done more practical, but in hindsight everyone does too much CGI now so it's almost a moot point.
This movie was bad. But I remember a lot of things from it even when I have watched it only once. From the sequels the only thing I remember is "Tr8tor", and that's it. They were unmemorable besides the usual "somehow...".
The sequels have a worse premise but at least the direction is incompetent despite the bad writing. The prequels with better direction and writing would've excelled on the level of the OT.
