It's nice that in both the TV show continuation and Doomsday Clock, the writers can't get around the fact that Rorschach was right, Ozymandias is evil, and Manhattan is a cuck.
It was pretty satisfying to see Ozzy face the consequences of his actions, especially by Looking Glass who was the coolest part of the tv sequel.

Ozymandias is why you see people with an elite background say they have ‘mixed feelings’ about watchmen. The elite love believing they can plan and change the world and build it to their ultimate vision. Dr. Manhattan saying “nothing ever ends” succinctly destroys any concept of power or control that they feel they have.
