Cinemaphile just makes him the most OOC character of all time and pretends he's some super-confident dominant guy who rapes all the girls hard into his slave harem or some shit
I've never seen a character more OOC in fanworks then him
Helps that he's also Batman.
there was a joke about Will Friedle in Radiant Black that might have been my favorite part of the whole comic
I mean, his idea of saving the world is murder
Dipper from Gravity Falls is more out of character in fan works than Ron to the point I hate Gravity Falls. Like it was a flawed show but the fans made it worse.
Look up the Breaking Bonnie fanfic based on the Ron Millionaire episode from back when the show was airing.
because Ron has all those qualities. He's an excellent fighter, sure Monkey Fist and Shego are more than a match for him but who is. Hes really smart as proven when he became Zorpox as that device just made him evil, not smarter.
its clearly that its an underlying confidence issue and if that gets solved he'd be contender for strongest and smartest in the show. hell the series litterally has him master his powers at the end. Any time spent developing that and he would have had it earlier.
at least the traits exist somewhere in Rons character, unlike some fandoms that just make all that shit up.
Except that Ron has qualities that make him likeable, unlike modern depictions of male side-characters. He's also not always useless or moronic, he has his moments.
And he gets the girl.
Only if the FemMC was ugly and acted like a b***h to the Male MC, neither of which apply to Kim.
Didn't Ron ultimately save the world with his destiny-given god powers?
Yes. He beats and even kills a Mongul and Mongal expy.
It seems to have got shows inspired by it like star vs the forces of eveil and haileys on it. They seemed to have been disneys best animated shows since phineas and ferb and gravity falls so maybe that character duo is the key
Legs though wow
That robot is about to scissor her to death
>plot of the 1st movie is that Kim is completely useless without Ron
>plot of the second movie is that the chosen one, Ron, needs to step up to save the world
>in both, Kim gets to be both the action hero that fights the bad guy and the princess who's saved
>literally the greediest female fantasy ever
>best of both worlds
She's not really flawless. Kim's issue was that she didn't know what to do with her life, and choice was stressful to her. Her freelance mission thing was just an expression of her drifter nature, doing whatever someone else asked her to do
oh no, how dreadful
She was also sucks at pretty much anything that doesn't involve with saving the world.
I always hated this shitty show and Danny Phantom while we're at it. Never liked the emasculated lame weak dumb male co-protagonist bullshit. It's even more insulting when they have the writers say...
"Oh the incompetent male, Ron, is actually useful he helps the heroine become super accomplished through dumb luck."
In Kimpossible this was explained as the Ron Factor episode. But I never liked that bullshit. Never believed in it. If a character is truly that much of a dumbass then no, they are a nuisance. It's why I never like other similar male characters like Beast Boy from Teen Titans or first Nickelodeon Ninja Turtles Cartoon Michelangelo. Incompetent dumbasses being presented as useful to the group is simply bullshit I always hated.
>dumbass cowardly bumbling male mc that follows the female mc around
ron always made a contribution that led to the villains capture, though
and he is pretty capable outside of a spy setting, he was an excellent chef, he invented the naco, and he got first place in a talent competition through sheer variety and quantity of performances
the stitch in time episode straight up shows the villains winning easily when they separated ron from kim
and ron can handle himself in a fight when he is properly motivated, like against monkeyfist or when future shego reveals she messed with the present
>ron always made a contribution that led to the villains capture, though
Yes, the dumb luck factor that these lame male characters are given by the writers to pretend they are useful while never upstaging the Feminism Female Lead of the cartoon or movie.
>character is useful
>let me just move these goalposts to claim he is still useless
Don't forget the Fearless Ferret episode.
Inb4 incel comments wiped out
modern Cinemaphile does hate this show as far as i can tell. I mostly see it referenced as the beginning of where things went "wrong".
That's just one guy.
you literally just replied to "the one guy"
nah, just recounting my observations of this board. hope its as small a problem as you say.
>Ron
>cowardly
Imagine being this insecure about your own manhood.

co would just ingore ron and ship the villians and post pictures of shego and kim being hot
we literally still get shego threads almost eery week
I hated it even back when it was on.
>socially awkward yet sporty redhead with exposed belly
If you didn't fall in love with her, you're gay.
Modern Cinemaphile is Cinemaphile in name only. There's an abundance of people who visit this board to engage in culture war assfrickery and couldn't tell you a thing about comics or cartoons.
