How are the first two Spider-Man movies so kino?

Good general understanding of the characters while being willing to mold elements of any particular story into something more fit for screen presentation. Not being afraid to play the mildly fantastic straight. Jokes that weren't dripping with irony.

They are self-contained stories and have something to say. Even the third movie has a story of it's own to tell even tho would recommend watching the trilogy in order obviously.

kind of. the first two movies do build up harry osborn as the third movie villain. pretty nicely done. octavius fails and sets harry back quite a bit

True. If you show someone the second and third movie they can get and idea who Peter/Spider-Man is and what his struggles at the moment are but there might be confusion about where Harry's motivations come from.

      brilliant, but gentile

For those who want to be part of this epic Cinemaphile forced meme there are three easy steps.

Step 1: This is considered the most important step. See what movie this epic Cinemaphile meme is being applied to today. Most of the time it's the older Sam Raimi Spiderman movies but since these threads die very fast the guys that force this apply it to other movies now. This thread however uses the Raimi Spiderman meme. Please pay attention.

Step 2: Take an iconic scene in the movie, any will do as long as people remember the scene. Greentext a quote from the scene and twist the words to use anti semitisim, racism, homophobia or any other edgy as frick topic. Go nuts, the sky is the limit! The more vulgar it is the more epic the meme is. This takes us to the final step.....

Step 3: Make a regular post, taking the position of a normal person and pretend to be disgusted by that scene. I know, I know, this is Cinemaphile, a site where gore flows like fine wine but that's what makes this meme edgy, wacky and zany. We pretend to be offended by that fake scene. Funny huh?

Now that you understand how to do this, have fun kids. Happy memeing!

laziness leads to shortcuts and refinment of processes so you dont have to bother so much. effiency=less work. lazy is just a bad word

Raimi wasn’t very subtle here. Especially when all the arms did the Hitler salute afterwards

This argument can always be heard from women in X whose face in the profile picture says someone hurt them in the past. It can either start or end by them saying that "well, we should just put all men in camps or at least on a leash", then when you ask that maybe just put the gangsters and psychopaths away they start screeching that the punishing or locking the criminals away doesn't help anyone.
