Season one and sort of season two were the only seasons with good prize tasks, everyone else phoned it in with the same "It's a crappy prize and that's the joke!" bit. First seasons had the real ones putting up genuinely valuable and important shit.
It helps that Jeremy is a shit TM and his relationship with Paul isn't anywhere close to Greg and Alex. It forces the them to focus on the tasks an contestants. It feels like UK TM has more than half the runtime devoted to Greg and Alex reactions to the tasks in the studio.
>Female contestant >Shoehorns feminist talking points like wage gap into tasks
Some of them are good gooning material. Just finished season nine and I wouldn't mind colonizing Rose if you know what I mean. Katie Wicks was also looking good after getting sick halfway through made her dump a bunch of weight.
this was literally only katherine parkinson, the worst contestant in the history of the show. and alex only did it because he felt bad for her, she clearly had some actual intelligence issues that didn't come across when acting
These shitty British comedy shows are everything wrong with British comedy. The ''comedy'' is the lowest brow shit possible, way bellow Jim Carrey and slapstick and toilet humor. It's the lowest form of humor possible.
These are shitty people. Their entire comedy is saying a slightly odd word in a sentence or just being these shithead obnoxious wannabe bullies who '''''''''''''banter''''''''''' but the banter is the most childish one note trash. The one Indian guy they have on will just call people white and people will call him Indian, that's his entire comedy. One guy has big weird teeth so all his humor is that he has teeth and every insult towards him is just pointing out that he has teeth. Noel Fielding comes on and every joke is that he looks odd and goth, everyone just insults him saying he looks weird and goth.
They say the most childish unfunny trash but with such a smug attitude to so much laugher you just want to punch them in the face.
honestly I was watching back Series 10 and watching Lee Mack struggle to be a human in the company of 6 other people was rough - he kept relying on his stand up routines to get through most of his discussions as well as cutting off other contestants conversations
Some comedians only have one mode
Lee is great in a panel show, but I imagine it's hard to rip him out of that "get a joke out of this at all costs" mindset
Some comedians only have one mode
Lee is great in a panel show, but I imagine it's hard to rip him out of that "get a joke out of this at all costs" mindset
This, not every comedian fits every situation. A lot of British comedians are incredible on panels shows but aren't great at stand up or interviews

Then you have guys like Eddie Izzard who are genius at stand-up but total shit at everything else. Catch him on any panel show and he adds NOTHING.
Nope, classic wokeista misquoting the man himself (not that he doesn't encourage it). He's made it clear that he always has boy-moods and girl-moods, and that while he wants to called "Suzy Izzard", he acknowledges and respects that he'll be Eddie to almost everyone and he's fine with call him a him.
Can't tell if she's actually nearly moronic, or a genius who's amazing at staying in character.
Like she's written and created a few shows, and was great at tricking people in wilty.
she boned everyone in the little bbc oxford clique before him
her pre-david affairs are a matter of public record
I wouldn't consider him a winner of anything except king of settling
>In July 2012 she reported that she was terrified of flying, and in August 2012 she confirmed on Twitter that the therapist she had been seeing to address her fear had been killed in a plane crash.
>old contestant >intentionally interprets every task in the laziest way possible
Sometimes the lateral thinking is funny, but sometimes it's just "how do I put the minimum amount of effort into this thing"
Arguing semantics was funny in the early seasons but it's been a hundred episodes by now, it's not really impressive anymore
These days the chad contestants follow the spirit of the task and sweat trying to fulfill it, not weasel around it
Taskmaster is incredibly based for how easy it is to access in its entirety on YouTube, if nothing else.
Also Alex Horne is has an insane output. >17 seasons of TV show which requires hundreds of unique tasks/challenges >seasonal specials, extra shows >hundreds of hours of him doing studio improv with Greg and the comedians >franchised out to like 8 countries >also his band makes all the music
Dude is a fricking factory of content. I'm not even mad when some of the tasks are shit, they generally lead to funny studio moments. After 150 episodes I'm amazed there's any decent tasks left.
>17 seasons of TV show
Series, not seasons. The UK does 2 series per year instead of 1 season a year like the US, so they've basically done 8 seasons so far.
Eh thats not really how it works. Until watching US TV became common the UK always used series the same way Americans would use season, which wasn't used in that sense here at all. Now the two are basically used interchangably. No-one would ever say there are 8 seasons of Taskmaster.
>woman comedian
>woman
>comedian
What the hell are you talking about?
>prize task
>contestant brings a book
>prize task
>contestant "brings" an abstract concept
Season one and sort of season two were the only seasons with good prize tasks, everyone else phoned it in with the same "It's a crappy prize and that's the joke!" bit. First seasons had the real ones putting up genuinely valuable and important shit.
>creative task
>majority of the work is done by the editors
>black contestant is argumentative regardless of how wrong they are
>taskmaster
>woman comedian
>greg gives more points to contestants he wants to frick
The superior taskmaster
correct
He's a comedian? I only know him from Viva La Dirt League and the Burger King ads
I still have no idea because I'm not from NZ but is Mel a troony or not? I couldn't figure it out and Google doesn't tell me anything.
You're a homosexual basically
Mel is top tier
She's an anorexic, lanky freak.
It helps that Jeremy is a shit TM and his relationship with Paul isn't anywhere close to Greg and Alex. It forces the them to focus on the tasks an contestants. It feels like UK TM has more than half the runtime devoted to Greg and Alex reactions to the tasks in the studio.
Far too many tasks which are essentially "do a wacky comedy skit on command, you have 10 minutes".
That sounds terrible
why did laura daniel look so normal in the tasks but completely bogged in the studio?
That's not Kongen Befaler.
Rhod is the only funny guest on that show
For a show that's all about the contestants being affable and good natured, they really do cast a bunch of stinkers.
They had like what, 100 guys on at this point?
They can't all be gold
In any given season, I'd say they normally only have 2 people that are any fun.
it's an absolute casserole down there.
>contestant goes above and beyond at all costs
You plum
>prize task
>I skip
>Female contestant
>Shoehorns feminist talking points like wage gap into tasks
Some of them are good gooning material. Just finished season nine and I wouldn't mind colonizing Rose if you know what I mean. Katie Wicks was also looking good after getting sick halfway through made her dump a bunch of weight.
Genuinely one of the most overrated shows on TV.
>it's an "Alex indulges in his humiliation fetish" episode
Isn't that every episode?
this was literally only katherine parkinson, the worst contestant in the history of the show. and alex only did it because he felt bad for her, she clearly had some actual intelligence issues that didn't come across when acting
a lot of contestants ask Alex to do stuff to skip the whole task
I think the sex balance is pretty even on that one. usually it just means the contestant is old
Some of the men do it too, but at least from immediate memory it's a lot more common with woman
Happened a bunch on the recent champion of champions

Why are you in this thread if you haven't watched Taskmaster?
It's a copypasta bro
the superior taskmaster
For me, its Morgana.
For me, it's Fern.
for me fern brady me fern brady
She's got that jack sparrow autistic mannerism
>maintains eye contact with Alex throughout
I would pay a lot of money to eat that
For me, it's Sally.
An equally good choice
she got her breasts out for the first time for a film last year or the year before
they're excellent
mmmm mommy horny
Morgana shooting paint all over herself in champion of champions was deeply erotic.
For me it's Victoria Mitchell
When she just stood there as the ball slowly rolled into the goal, I fell in love
Her postman asked her to answer the door barefoot because he had a foot fetish and she obliged.
And naturally subservient, what a keeper
>hey Victoria I have a breast fetish
Would this work?
Also one of the women in s17 has amazing booba

Lee Mack and Mike Wzxcjqski were both good contestants, though.
his appearance on rhlstp was a good listen if you haven't heard it already.

How disgusting.

It's gone to shit when they took the money and left Dave
I love how every series they have an older lady who tries their hardest to be overly sexy.
When does the season 17 trailer drop?
I thought Katherine Ryan was a good female contestant and avoided most of the tropes.
I think Katherine Ryan is unfunny and I don't like her tone of voice, very monotone and very little expression
>Katherine Ryan
She looks creepy but she looks like she has nice milk trucks
Was she the dumbest person on the show?
Can't tell if she's actually nearly moronic, or a genius who's amazing at staying in character.
Like she's written and created a few shows, and was great at tricking people in wilty.
it's clearly a bit
>tfw no 150 iq poker champion big titty comedian gf
David won the lottery
she boned everyone in the little bbc oxford clique before him
her pre-david affairs are a matter of public record
I wouldn't consider him a winner of anything except king of settling
Yeah she's 50 no shit she's got mileage
>In July 2012 she reported that she was terrified of flying, and in August 2012 she confirmed on Twitter that the therapist she had been seeing to address her fear had been killed in a plane crash.
Make way for the real king of Taskmaster
norgay sucks dicks

>When the young guy goes on a rant saying "PUT IN SOME FRICKING EFFORT."
He was completely right.
It was extra funny because the guy he was having a go at got diagnosed with parkinson's and literally couldn't put in as much effort
Based ableist Joe Thomas.
There's a cast announcement from the end of CoC3.
?si=Xb0oHJKsGcfJ0OMh
Ironic from him considering he came across as absolutely moronic
He was just awkward
For me, it's your friends and mine, a couple of guys who, when you think about it, go way back, have histories, it's Tim Key and Mark Watson.
No more job gloves.
I saw Alex Horne and his kid playing at the local golf club once.
They should make another pandemic so I can get more No More Jockeys
>contestant can only do a task for like 3 minutes before she gets tired and falls asleep in the fetal position

odd difference. wonder why they do it like that

>I could have done the task better
>mfw
i could probably do most of the tasks better but it wouldnt be funny
