Is there any actual evidence to this? I see it in every MITM thread, is it about the "Dewey's actor possibly being raped" thing, or is it just a Cinemaphile meme?
i really like the one weird episode in the middle of the run where malcolm stops taking his meds and keeps talking to himself like theirs an audience watches and his dad just beats the shit out of him and reese for an hour, then dewey gives him his pills and he renters the show
this show's almost as gay as scrubs. as a rule, you shouldn't be watching anything so packed with fruity musical cues and abrupt scene transitions that sound like a power ranger moving his hands.
It was the closest thing to a perfect sitcom till that last season. So many characters acting out of character. Shitty episodes left and right. And the finale was crazy underwhelming. Should've ended with the baby Jamie being born.
It still makes me seethe that >Malcolm gets talked into working a shitty janitor job by Lois instead of taking an amazing job straight out of high school so that he would "suffer and wouldn't let his success go to his head" >Reese becoming a janitor at a high school, despite his cooking talent and them hinting towards him becoming a chef the entire show >Francis reverting back into being a bum moron after having him get a steady job and becoming a responsible person
How did they not have Reese end up at a restaurant as a line cook?
>chef aspirations and talent >resistant to stress >doesn’t care about getting yelled at >can shut his brain off and do as he’s told >would get along with degenerate kitchen staff
The entire series shows that is exactly where he would fit in. And it’s not following the usual sitcom trope of everyone ending up wildly successful
no laugh track
It's almost like they had enough faith in the jokes to not tell the audience when to laugh
It's not about little shitty jokes most shows use nowadays.
It's about situations where things happen and they're funny and you laugh.

Spangler arc > Otto arc > Alaska arc > post Otto francis
True.

my favorite episode is when lois fantasizes about if the boys were born as girls
i got my first boner from female reese
Why was Hal fat in that alternate reality?
Girls don't keep you on your toes all the time.
Girls provide a different type of stress that doesn't require physical action
stress eating
is pretty funny how fem malcolm is a 1/1 daria minus the glasses.

>stop watching what i don't like
I thought we were past this long long ago.
Maybe you need some growing to do, boy.
says the homosexual watching kid shows from the 90s
Shut up zoomer.
This show captured childhood in the late 90s/early 2000s better than any other show.
>It's a Hal gets completely engrossed in one activity episode
>the fricking steamroller
The episode where Reese manipulates the genius Israeli girl so he can touch her big knockers
Why does Francis look so odd here? It’s like they replaced the actor with a guy who kinda looked like him but not really.
big tit boob grab episode. also contrary to belief a lot of that was happening from 5th grades up 7th.
What a weird promo poster
>no mini golf episode
>family working together cheering Malcolm on
>the episode where Hal becomes addicted to the steamroller
So fricking satisfying.
I wanted to like this, but there’s no bingeworthy overarching storyline for me to watch 7 hour essay videos on YouTube about.

the only good thing is hitting the baby as future casanova
>still in emission in one of the public channels in my country
one of the fricking good things in TV, despite being in the 1418756890th rerun
Why are they so into Malcolm playing golf?!
Why does no one ever talk about Piama's huge milkers?
Her and Stevie's mom were hot. As I grow older I've come to have a crush on lois too.
I still want to frick Malcolm's neurotic israelite teacher
Answer my question!
>nobody can defeat sub zero
It got worse as it went on. Most of the classic eps were early in the run. Season 1 is up there with golden age Simpsons though.
I wish more shows did cold opens like Malcolm in the Middle. I still think about some of them 20 years on.
