Honestly, I think I'd be more disappointed that one of the winning videos was just a gigantic image collage instead of an actual animation. The fact that the dude had to get a computer to do the work for him is just icing on the cake.

Consider that this entry probably wasn't even seen by any of the judges. Consider that they met once, saw a handful of animations selected by interns, then picked a few on a whim without any genuine thought. To the artist the competition was a chance to show their passion for music and art. But to the grey-haired old kings it was just a mild distraction from comfortable property-owning retirement.
