Per an LA Times article, Pink says she regrets doing the "Scurvy Song" from the SpongeBob Truth or Square special
"I wish I never did that, that was a real mistake"
As a SpongeBob zoomer, are you offended?

lol
oh god
Is she saying that transwomen are ugly and being compared to one is an insult?
If she is, she's not wrong
I don't remember this song, and barely remember this special
I thought this special was a fever dream, honestly. I remember it and the song, but I don't know what the point of it was.
I think that's a fair answer. What other song is going to go under it?
It's not like she asked to be asked that question.
OK but why's she regret it
I think a lot of people can relate to putting a lot of work into a non-serious project/performs, only to wish later they hadn't made such an effort.
Just look at this. Between the cheap grossout humor, the ridiculous outfit, and the lame lyrics, I can’t really blame her on this one.

Even she knew at the time that Nick was desperate to attach SpongeBob into anything.
>post movie slop
literally who cares.
pink has gone on record to say she doesn't give head
I give 0 shits about her opinion on anything
Bjs are overrated imho. What’s her stance on anal?
Literally never heard of this person until now, I feel indiferent.
Thank you for posting this here, I can't actually say how I feel about this on twitter due to their stupid character limit. Seriously, nothing more annoying than seeing something trend but knowing what you want to say must be shortened and lose its impact. I have opinions and I'm ready to fire, damn it!
Wow, anyways... I think Pink is just looking back at it being embarrassing on a general level. Which is funny because I'm sure she's done a lot of actually cringe inducing things in her career that go beyond singing a song for an iconic cartoon for a special event. I don't think anyone cared that she had done that and more just felt it was cringe on Spongebob's part to get a well known singer to do a song for the show, let alone for an anniversary special. That's not what Spongebob was about. Celebrating the series with a contemporary popular singer doing a song even if it was nautical themed was just them being desperate. Maybe that's another reason she doesn't look back on it well. She might realize that she was part of a cheap Nickelodeon/child's network publicity stunt. But the song itself was really cheesy and dumb so it's just embarrassing on that merit.
Being able to use more than 240 characters did not improve the impact of your statement.
The song wasn't even SpongeBob related, just a vague pirate theme.
Probably just embarrassed, sometimes you look back on things and you go “why on earth did I do this?” Happens to a lot of people including you and I
why is she pink again?
I thought it was a good song
Nobody knew who Pink was until spongebob made her. Get over it.
Is that a lemon tree?
Lemmys song was much better anyway.

genuinely good
Who?
Yes, I like this song. If she can't appreciate the humor then she probably takes herself too seriously as an artist now and has a stick up her ass
Since we're on the topic of Pink, I've had this scene stuck in my head ever since they first announced the Harley Quinn series where the Joker captures Batman and takes him to some villain bar and he starts singing Pink's Raise Your Glass. The scene is guest animated by Don Bluth so there's lots of over the top flourishes like overflowing beer mugs being clanged together.
