Tayleigh is doing really well, she has her PC set up and she recently did a playthrough of Animal Crossing with has 10k views overall. She also has a lot of orders for her crochet business so she's good for now without a job. Shinji is doing the best view count wise and he has a friend who kinda acts for him as an agent and is clearly guiding him on content creation and he's made 2 good videos. TJ is doing fine but he's regressed to former ticks and shit but he's improving, he did a recent playthrough of CK3 which was kinda shit but in a funny way and he's making content with Taylor, it's obvious they're in a relationship. The most surprising is Trish, she made the most money out of donations than the other 3 believe it or not and her streams are kinda okay but a bit boring, she interacts great with chat though.
Tay’s racist crochet streams are doing well but she’s not good at setting up computers and did not do a good job of streaming on a computer with stream labs quickly so failed to capitalize on post show hype, she also charges $20 for a beanie which takes her two hours to make and has approved about a hundred orders, so she’s committed herself to working hundreds of hours at below minimum wage for no reason, chat told her to raise the knitting prices and she said that wouldn’t be fair. Sweet but will be perma-poor.
Shinji stream was OK, his friend helped him set things up quickly and was a bit annoying in the first interview but then got out of the way. Shinji should focus on school not streaming though, he could have a real career

Trish is doing fantastic but she is hobbled by the fact her computer hasn't arrived for her to move beyond just talking about fishtank. Tay on the other hand has about 200 or so crochet orders and if we just calculate it at $30 a beanie she has about $6000 in commission work just from her first round. She obviously has to do the work crocheting but she actually LIKES doing that shit its not like its wage slaving for her. Tay actually ended up in a place where she spends most of her time laughing and having fun, she is literally winning at everything right now. TJ may have won the grand prize but streaming comes across like agony for him, even with Taylor helping him out. Josie is definitely the most successful from the S1 cast in the long run, and I suspect in long term earnings Tay will probably end up with the best earnings from S2, probably beating out TJ's grand prize by the end of the year through a combination of streaming donations and crochet orders on top of her prize winnings which was between 17-24k.

Even though Tay was regarded as the villain in S2 she was probably the most interested in maintaining friendships and contact out of the tank and it seems like she genuinely cared about the other fish and most freeloaders. Hell she was asked today to do a tier-list of all the fish and freeloaders and she nearly started the process only to realize that ranking people would just cause pointless drama amongst her friends and instantly shut down the idea. Her devotion to her friends is really endearing.

One thing I can definitely say is an improvement from S1 is the audio, the fact we can actually hear what the frick the fishes are saying most of the time is a relief.

I think moving on production should stay more behind the scenes. I don't want to hang out with Sam's crew every night. That's fricking gay. If the production has to interact with the fish, they should be in a shark suit. Contestants should never know what any of the production looks like except for Sam. In season 2 they all made themselves too much a part of the show, even down to the house design and clothing restrictions themselves. Having all the contestants be MDE fans made it even worse. The whole thing was genuinely cringe and there's no fricking way I could recommend this to any of my friends. It's weird but not endearing.

What was the bit of having all fans but telling each of them that they’re the only fan on the show? How much can you make out of that premise?
I feel like they wanted everyone to think they were the insider who had all the answers, which would encourage them all to be the 'Letty' of the season and make things happen. It might have worked if the show had a tighter structure and planning, but everything was made up on the spot and none of the contestants were smart enough to improvise. I think it was a big mistake to specifically task them all with 'finding the plant', it immediately made them all suspicious which fricked up the entire season.
The cast was the best part about season 2. Each person has their own solid fanbase. Except Meg and JC.
The first night they were tasked on discovering the plant. The MDE fan reveal is all productions moronic fault for not having the ability to restrain themselves. Production gave them nothing to do before Christmas except find the plant and the fish found out the twist and production got upset at them for it
Production couldn’t keep bits going think the poker nights, the attic, and the group therapy. They wouldn’t stay around long enough to go through their hiccups or didn’t put in the work for prep.
