BTW for the sketch "The Man Who Would Never Be... What They Made Him To Be", there are some good re-edits on youtube, since AS "lost" the recording of John Maus singing Cop Killer, so it was replaced with Hey Moon in the broadcast version, which does change the tone of the sketch.
The frick is MDE?
Comedy troupe that at one point had a TV show on Adult Swim that got canned because some homosexual at Buzzfeed thought it was racist. They are working on a season two right now with independent funding and distribution.
Smocaine 3 is maybe one of the absolute heights of kino in the Youtube age.
"You know what happens when you know somethin', Spider - ya usually know the rest of it!"
"Classic bomb rescue! Suicide bomb rescue!"
"We've got a green light! We've gotta put him down! Two Xs, two Os, doesn't matter which, take 'em down! I'm takin' the shot, sarge! You're gonna need a helicopter with a frickin' rifle if you don't want him dead in about THIRTY SECONDS!"
A longing for tradition and the desire to satisfy innate needs of family/love/purpose warped by influences of urban life and general cultural degradation etc. Trying to find ways to cope with the pain and ignore your own needs i.e. for the Charls character his fatherly/family provider needs but these coping mechanisms only being temporary so you need to face the problem head-on and maybe cut your losses and just separate yourself from the sickness around you to devise a means of happiness by yourself. At least that's my interpretation. It's an episode showing one particular instance of a person having needs that must be satisfied but not being able to fulfill these needs because of sickness around him. It's generally just a representation of people's frustrations with the world around them and the sense that things are not right or that the way we live is sick IMO
>these "people" ITT unironically like this talentless homosexuals unfunny trash >these same "people" tell you your taste in films is shit in other threads
The anime convention video is fairly underrated. The editing isn't that great but it's funny to pause and read every slide of the PowerPoint. Anime culture is more mainstream than it was at the time but the weeb jokes are still accurate.

Rutger's talk, various World Peace snippets.
But really the TED talk is his peak, he hasn't been funny in years.

>IDEAS MAN
the charls one or the 12 minute one? did a search and there's two of em
12 minute one has the Charls bits in it.
looked it up only to realise I've already watched it but forgot every skit
extremely boring

Everything after or before that pales in comparison
Well Prodigal Stuna is also quite ok

If only
Just stop right here. It's all garbage and a waste of time.
This. The TED talk and Moms are where the funny ends although World Peace had a couple of funny sketches but only enough to count on a single hand.

The frick is MDE?
Knife School and anything else with heavy Charls involvement.
Mr Pregnant also kind of counts as half-MDE since it's Charls and Andrew Ruse and IMO it's one of the best videos on the internet
These plus The Man Who Would Never Be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=balitii8_Xg

I completely missed the point of this sketch, flew right over my head

MDE in particular and Sam in general grew on me. Charls and Nick are funnier than Sam imo, though. Their best skits and antics still make me laugh.
All three (or was it two) Williamsburg Street Fashions were the greatest thing I had ever seen, when I first watched them:
