I think so, I can only tell by process of elimination. He isn’t the fat korean guy in every Korean movie, he isn’t old enough to be the guy living in basement, he isn’t young enough to be the son. So it’s either rich dad or one of the party guests.

>watch movie about topic >complain that it's about the topic
average modern human, there's a million ways to identify as a victim in the smallest situations
>sets up rich people as buttholes >poor people end up being the villians after all because of their insane entitlement
just like real life. BRAVO asiaticSAN
neither, tbh
though can you imagine this movie made in the west? the rich family would've been portrayed as total wankers who 200% deserved what had coming for them
The rich family, the Parks, only employed the people they thought would better them. They showed no loyalty to their driver or housekeeper they had forever. As it's mentioned in the movie, they are only nice because they are rich.
The poor family, the Kims, do whatever it takes to advance their status in life. They get the driver fired and get the housekeeper fired before eventually murdering her.
The housekeeper and her husband are leeches themselves.
It's a study of the human condition. We're all the same. If the roles were reversed everything very well may have happened the same.
It's not about "group loyalty" lol
It's about the pernicious effect of debt in Korean society.
All Korean movies and TV shows are about debt.
Even The Host was about debt.
Poor Hispanic here.
When I buy a first class casual clothes, t-shirts for example, it always looks like I am wearing this for an important meeting, it doesn't feel natural at all.
Read any webtoon/manhwa it's the same thing. It's in their culture on a societal level. >Poor people are dirt >Ugly people are trash >Weak should be stepped on >Money = GOD >Pretty = needs to get money
They go in depth to buy designer clothing and get plastic surgery.
Korea is a rotten place.
Bullied/oppressed character get their 'justice' by fighting their oppressor with the author help.
Author help is what differs normal revenge and revengeporn. This theme was present in a lot of manhwa and kdrama.
Their TV is all written by middle aged women. That's why the characters behave in insane ways.
Like in my mister how the main guy keeps coming back to be used/defrauded by that young girl. time and time again.
Because it's """romantic"""
>Main character actor killed himself
Guess that was a live action
>main character
lol that guy was a supporting character at best. He had like five minutes of screen time and spent that talking to main characters.
