Has anyone else seen this?
I thought the sort of surreal steampunk frankenstein deal was pretty neat.
I do think however that the character Bella was a little hammed up because she's at one point kind of matured and developed yet unable to understand that people can get jealous over sex.
Still might be one of the best movies I'll see this year, the art style was just so cool.
Pedo Things
I'm now sold. Thank you for your priceless review.
is this out on streaming yet or do you still have to go out into the world like a normalgay to see it?
Can you see her vulva?
Pro-pedo junk.
where do you think we are
Post-2016 internet
>a grown woman with the mind of an infant
Vs
>an infant with the mind of a grown woman
Which way pedo man?
Mmmmmmmmmmm no torrent
Really? I thought it was dogshit. She has a child's mind and the film presents her self-discovery as almost entirely sexual which is disturbung for obvious reasons, it's on the verge of the pedo argument that "she looked mature for her age". Wouldn't be surprised if it came out the director is part of an elite pedo ring.
The film is supposedly about womens lib but is so cack handed it actually works as a parody of that message: The female protagonist has a child's brain, she runs off with a strange man before her wedding so she can frick him, there are 'liberating' scenes where she go out on her own to stuff herself with pastries get drunk and frick random guys she finds, she tries to give their money to the poor but is too stupid to realise it's actually been stolen, the only female role model she meets is spinster who tells Bella that she jerk offs, then she becomes a literal prostitute which is presented as being whimsical and empowering, she becomes a socialist (which amounts to a handful of lines saying she goes to socialist meetings, she never does anything political), discovers she's bisexual with a fellow prostitute, she then returns home with her prostitute girlfriend and demands her fiance accept everything she's done, which he does, then at their wedding she runs off with the man who was married to the adult body her child's brain was inserted into, she discoverd he's a violent nutcase, her independence is literally equated with her clitorus because he wants to circumcise her, and it ends with her replacing his brain with a sheep's and she sits around drinking wienertails with her husband and girlfriend.
There's so much more but that's the gist of it.
't be surprised if it came out the director is part of an elite pedo ring.
>yorgos the superautistic greek, part of an elite pedo ring
LOL
Sounds Satanic and gay and Satanic
Didn't watch this gay pretentious garbage, busted a nut to her hairy muff, unmemorable. Won't be going into the vault.
israeli slop
I hate sex scenes in movies. Based on what I heard about this one, I think I'll skip it
I felt like it really loses steam once they are on the ship. I hate Ruffalo as a person though so seeing him suffer in this movie was pretty funny
There's about ten sex scenes. It's really deranged.
Baby fricking
Some morons say that this hideous thing is attractive
Is Ruffalo the only who she have sex with in this movie?
No, she has sex with tons of men and none of it is arousing unless you're into the ugly bastard thing. Also gets ate out by a negress.
Want to read the book first.
no i didn't
Has a gross look to it so I'll never watch
it's fine
pointless nude scenes the movie
Ruffalo was hilarious. She's supossed to be a Forrest Gump-like character who defies societal norms just by existing apart from them, but this notion sustains itself on the idea of her being the only one capable of self-actualization, with her many lovers being obvious lib caricatures who exist as stepping stones for her personal growth.
I liked it, and yeah the setting was interesting and looked great.
There's no doubt that Bella's emotions were heavily stunted. I don't know if the plan was to do that kind of "the fool looks through ordinary people's stupidity" angle, where she had the superior opinion because she had absolutely no hang-ups about sex. If that was the case they kinda missed, as at no point did they go into the risk of pregnancy and only once was STDs mentioned. There was also next to no mention of intimacy.
So I think the point was that she wasn't quite human and as such was unable to feel much empathy or truly value the intimacy a couple can feel. She was a Frankenstein's monster and she did end up happy, but she never became fully human. Which is all fine, it was about her growing up in her own way, not about discovering her humanity.
