>the trainwreck observer, who watches an episode, at most maybe two, to see just how bad it is
>the untreated autism viewer, who for some reason happens to develop an autistic obsession with something which their conscious brain hates
>the closeted fan, who actually enjoys the show but insists to the world, and perhaps even to themselves, that they hate it; either they think fixating on the negatives makes them appear enlightened, or they feel ashamed that they're a fan (boy watching a girl show, liberal/conservative watching a conservative/liberal show, adult watching a kid show, racist watching an ethnic show, etc)
It's not very impressive for a non-Netflix streaming service to proclaim a cartoon as their "No. 1 *animated series", it's purely for marketing and a bunch of morons genuinely believed it's actually popular.
Of course you can, by casual glances and heavy skimming.
What if Primos turns out to be really comfy?
I think it will be fine. Even the WIP leak of the first episode seemed fine. Nothing groundbreaking but Tater's cute and the setting and theme could allow for some enjoyable plots.

What's funny is that most of these supposedly ethnic pandering shows either have a mixed character who favors their white heritage (Tater has a white dad and she doesn't even know Spanish, Molly McGee favored her white father's personality and her concern over not being Thai enough was basically concluded with "who cares just be yourself," and even Anne Boonchuy who was full Thai mostly acted like a typical white American girl beyond her sometimes eating Thai food or weading a Thai-ish outfit)

Honestly I think they want to drop the trailer closer to release to avoid it getting memed to dead again (or maybe they do want that and want to ride the wave? Who knows)
