Saban's Masked Rider was awful, mixing parts of Black RX with the 90's Kamen rider movies to make a plot about a space prince simply didn't work.
Dragon Knight was better than it had any right to be, the season of Kamen Rider it adapted, Ryuki, is not considered one of the best.

From what we understand here at Hasbro, Gen Z does not care hugely about Power Rangers. If you see fans on Twitter and Reddit bemoan on the "oversaturation of Mighty Morphin'" within the product line, that is why.
The target market for Power Rangers for us are the Millennials who grew up with the original Mighty Morphin' series and their children. (We understand that some of those folks now have families haha)
