I dont know how it all works but certain IPs like the simpsons can stay on tv and get renewed indefinitely even if the views are minimal because most of the money comes from the brand. No one watches it but everyone knows the simpsons, they take advantage of that with merchandising. It's sounds bizarre but people keep buying simpson merch even if they havent watched it in decades.
As for the MCU, they spend hundreds of millions for each movie and barely break even as of phase 4 but just like the simpsons, capeshit merch is still selling like crazy

Depends on where AI gets before one of the main VAs dies. If it's in a good place and corporations successfully cuck all their talent into accepting that they can just own their soul for a pittance, then never or atleast until Disney/Fox collapses beyond repair and nobody has to pretend they're the ones who actively killed Simpsons.
The weekly series itself? I'd say a little sooner, 2028. But as a property it'll continue for decades. Specials, feature films, a rebooted series etc.
