It was one of the ubiquitous Trump inserts which shat all over cartoons during the time. It even supported the fiction the female choice was obvious and already in power (and secretly a psycho bent on esoteric grabs at power), as did many such cases.

A self insert is a self insert. You use it when someone is inserting an author surrogate, idiot. It has nothing to do with whether a person's portrayal of themself is positive or not. It doesn't matter whether they insert for power fantasy reasons, fandom trolling reasons, or just for fun.

They should've made him actually smart, like an intellectual equal to PB. Make him an actual rival to her instead of a bumbling moron. It could make her reflect on who she is as a leader by comparing the two, as they're both extremely smart and corrupt, just with KOO being more selfish
