What, that ancient Egyptians wouldn't be analogous to ANY modern ethnicity because their was deluded over literal millennia of cultural trade and shifting dynasties? They were neither black, white, or Arab when they made the Pyramids.
The only real sticking point people gloss over is the idea that there was a magical barrier to kept them from interacting with the rest of Africa. There's a reason why the ancient Greeks always talked about Ethiopians.
I mean a lot of black people believe Egyptians were black and there isn't really any concrete evidence to say they weren't. Realistically they were brown/swarthy like every other middle eastern/mediterranean culture. We know they markedly differentiated themselves from the Nubians in their artwork.
