Genndy only brought Jack back to tell the story of his first kill
Are we meant to believe Jack never killed something non human? I always thought they only showed robot kills on screen because of the rating, but I never assumed he had a code against it.
It seemed to be a way to tie in some lore building on top of the anticipation to the first blood kill they were allowed to do. Basically they retconned his kill history.

Its just me, or is the animation better than in season 1? Possibly AS finally gave Tartakovsky a better budget.

PRIMAL is basically the best parts of Samurai Jack and Star Wars: Clone Wars. All the various dialogue-low/free episodes.
The biggest problem with Primal perhaps is that SJ had more variety in the style between episodes. Whereas Primal is all (so far) no dialog horror movie inspired style.

Primal has been an underdog for me as all of the episodes have been ranging from okay to amazing but the minute Mira got introduced I just knew the quality of the show would go down. But I have high hopes for it because Primal is a new IP compared to Samurai Jack so we'll see.

At the very least it's going to be a completely different show from the previous season. The bronze age setting has me hyped but I worry it's going to lose what made the first season great.
Primal was mediocre and I can't wait for the salt when it goes down the same shithole as Samurai Jack.
