Based favela chads just buy bricks, cement, mortar and some rebars, and they build their hovels that can come apart with one swing of a small one handed sledge hammer.
making houses with reinforced concrete and brick is easy peasy. it won't fall apart as long as you build something that's roughly house shaped and sized. and you know some basics: zig-zag the bricks, tension your rebar before pouring the concrete, transverse beams are your friend, etc. the hardest part is getting the foundation right and having your roof leak and root proof, but even that's not too much of a problem.
unless moisture gets into the rebar in freezing conditions or there is an earthquake. these favela homes will hold up just fine in warm climates where there isn't a lot of frost. and even then rebar will take decades to rust and lose its tensile strength. unless there is an earthquake. or there is a gas leak, or the electric wiring you ghettoed up gets shorted - usually it's the utilities than are the most dangerous in favelas.

leaking roof is caused by either lack of sealing compound, they sell these like paint and you have to apply after putting the roof (concrete). And if your concrete roof/celling is leaking you fricked up and you forgot to put plaster on both sides. Tin roof is moron prof, just stack them correctly and use cement/plaster to seal them at the top end.
