What would you make it about? I love the character, but there's not enough source material to make a full movie.
it would be about his rise in a gotham underground, starting from the lazlo valentin chirurgeon, who breaks down, and starts "fixing" people, with a huge role with penguin to debate his philosophy, and maybe hush in the background to inspire the operations. There would be some kind of a breaking event, but for a solo movie you need to show change so a structure "idealist - test - realist" is needed. Maybe a superpower chirurgeon gone mad due to messing up an operation? Dollotrons as a trans commentary would generate controversy but getting a 16+ rating or higher would hurt the revenue. Someone up there said that all ideas on coke sound good, and this sums pyg up, you cannot do justice to him without pushing his operations, and they need to be drastic.
for the record, a psychological drama about james gordon jr would be a much better idea, you could call it "gordon", people know about his father, you could add villain cameos, etc, i would watch a movie about pyg but i have no idea why execs chose him. Still even if it's bad due to the size of the balls of the coked up exec i'll watch

Honestly, I'm down for it.
Just do a slasher movie with a little capeshit flair to it, and it'll be fine. The opening to The Batman already felt slasher-inspired with the way Riddler stalks the mayor, so if you just replicate that same sort of atmosphere, I can see this working.
I liked the tall british Professor Pyg from Beware the Batman, I thought he looked cool even if they toned him down and made him a more conventional mad scientist
Honestly, Morrison's original take on Pyg only works on limited doses. It's a theme so specific, it's hard to use him beyond that. Beware had a solid base to work from, but he didn't gel until his last appearance, where they mixed him how mentally detached he and Mr. Toad were from people. Just lose the eco-terrorism angle and do full Dr. Moreau with him. The Future State story he was in gives a good idea how to do that.

I don't know about this, a Professor Pyg movie has the potential to lead to something really dangerous. Thousands of alienated young cutting-edge roboticists are going to identify with Pyg and attempt to imitate him. There are going to be mass doll-o-tronnings. Already, theaters are banning pig masks, and some refuse to show the movie altogether. Red Hood and The Outlaws have been called in and are preparing to stand by. This is a risk we cannot afford to take, no matter how many standing ovations the film receives.
Why not have him fight Batman?
