Punisher went to shit after Suicide Run and it,s aftermath storylines. They didn't know what to do with him. Make him an Angel" make him a Frankeinstein Monster. Make him stop killing. Nothing worked. There's a few good comics after Suicide Run, but nothing consistent like the Punisher runs before it.
I know SR was just a copy of Batman Knightfall, but at least they did something interesting with the other Punishers that came up after Frank's 'death.'

People complain about cannon and supoer hero comics resetting. But I just see them as a long running soap operas that get rebooted every now and then. You hate the writer now but eventually it will get rebooted. Also Ennis and the 70s-80s is where punisher peaked. Jumpsuit chad punisher is still the best punisher.

That's an optimistic view but it's a perspective that lacks experience. The next writer might reboot the book, but there's no guarantee the book will be good again. It's all decided by the editor and editor in chief in a private meeting where they make plans years in advance. Let's say the book is somehow good now with a new writer. Well, that lasts for maybe 6 to 12 months, and then it gets rebooted again by a gay, or the publishing company decides the book needs to have a tie-in to the latest company wide crossover event, which sidetracks the main story completely. There's always something that will go wrong with comics.

Nothing worked. There's a few good comics after Suicide Run, but nothing consistent like the Punisher runs before it.
I know SR was just a copy of Batman Knightfall, but at least they did something interesting with the other Punishers that came up after Frank's 'death.'

People complain about cannon and supoer hero comics resetting. But I just see them as a long running soap operas that get rebooted every now and then. You hate the writer now but eventually it will get rebooted. Also Ennis and the 70s-80s is where punisher peaked. Jumpsuit chad punisher is still the best punisher.

That's an optimistic view but it's a perspective that lacks experience. The next writer might reboot the book, but there's no guarantee the book will be good again. It's all decided by the editor and editor in chief in a private meeting where they make plans years in advance. Let's say the book is somehow good now with a new writer. Well, that lasts for maybe 6 to 12 months, and then it gets rebooted again by a gay, or the publishing company decides the book needs to have a tie-in to the latest company wide crossover event, which sidetracks the main story completely. There's always something that will go wrong with comics.

It's less about her specifically, and more about what her character represents. And more importantly, how it reflects the absolute state of comic books, and modern entertainment. The Punisher has been a problem for Marvel for a long time. They never liked how popular he became with soldiers and law enforcement. So they did everything they could to undermine Punisher as a protagonist and deconstruct everything he stood for. They removed his iconic skull logo and put a deer demon logo on him instead. They stopped him from killing for a while too. They killed him. Multiple times, even. Now this happened. It's just a constant stream of lefty interference and subversion.
