My dad who watches nothing but crime flicks and actioners thought these movies were good and he never watches stuff with "fantasy bullshit" and hates them but these were entertaining and enjoyable to watch. I don't know anything about this franchise neither does he but they served their purpose to entertain and pass the time pleasantly.
My dad doesn't watch anything past 1999 when he was in his youth. He considers the millennium the "lost century" and that it has no soul. He's a very fascinating guy. You never really know your father so get to know him if you haven't. The father is the invisible pillar of any child's life.
>LMFAO dropped some images, jannies are erasing them one by one.
Seriously, guys jannies or whatever, we URGENTLY NEED a designated place for Star Wars stuff here. How many repeated 'Kino this, frick Disney Wars that' threads we need on Cinemaphile each day?
Aren't you tired of closing them every couple hours? We all sure are of seeing them with the same shitpost titles again and again.
We even have boards for wrestling and cosplay, some of the most niche topics. Why not Star Wars, the most popular stuff ever?
Put their posts on the same place, so they'll see how thematically inbred their threads are, and you'll see longer threads with longer shelf life. They will weed out organically there, not like here where we have them bloating the pages.
Anyway...
One of the best looking film trilogies of all time, apart from some dated alien CGI. The costume designs and the backgrounds give the prequels such a magical, ethereal feeling, like you’re truly watching an epic space opera. Even when the acting performances seem lackluster at times, they still work fine for what it’s going for.
whoever designed the sequel trilogy posters should be shot. the prequel posters are bold and consistent works of art. the colors in the others don't work well together. the prequel posters... all I want is to keep looking at them. it's like studying icons. I can't look away fast enough from the others.
tl;dr: you can judge covers
We're not doing this.
yes we are
You lost, George won.
watch the RLM reviews
Watch several hours of a hack fraud desperately try to convince me that these awesome movies are terrible? No thanks, you gaylord gaymaster.
Why should I? I'm old enough to have my own opinion about something.
kys homosexual.
Sorry but I don't watch failed comedians
What’s better
>poorly made flicks with soul
Or
>well made flicks without soul
nu wars wasn't well made.
>sequels
>well made
>Sequels
>Well made
>sequels
>well made
Soul is always better to no soul, so of course 1.
The prequels are not poorly made though.
First
natalie portman c**t on my mouth
post the pasta where anakin never turned to the dark side
Not sure if this is what you mean my nig but it's comfy either way.
im tired of this homosexualry. leaving Cinemaphile for a year I guess
Lol is that even fun to do. I'm pretty sure we're in a simulation, and the creator just really wanted inequality to look impressive.
Their earnest innocence, world building and set-pieces shine like remnants of a better timeline now that we're deep into clownworld.
Lucas was right.
These are perfectly self contained heroic epics.
They will be relevant forever.
And so is killing sand people.

My dad who is 60 years old refers to the 6 movies as "the originals" as opposed to the Disney ones.

seethe homosexual
>widespread reevaluation of the prequels
i know this has been happening gradually the past few years but it feels like it ramped up since this may 4th
you just made me realize that it is totally dumb to base your post on Cinemaphile upon the movies you've liked as a child.
thx anon.

Lol no. The prequels are shit and always will be. Redlettermedia was right about everything.

Red Letter Media caused the sequels to exist. Their criticism of Episode one and made the sequels. RLM has never been right once.
You both are right and wrong.
RLM was right about certain parts but wrong about others
You are correct and I completely agree with you. Stay based.
Dead franchise. Let it go.
Prequelgays cant stop winning!
