Paramount has done the same thing to Star Trek, the focus of the fans’ ire being on poor casting and bad writing, but then all the little things slip, like wardrobe with ill-fitting costumes despite being custom made for actors. Would it fricking kill these people to pay good people to do a good job?
At this point I really think it would kill them. Almost all new shows look and feel like shit. They have the best 3D printers, the best artisans there are at the ready, supply lines to top chinese manufacturers, the best CGI people.. nah frick it let's do a halfass job and pocket 90% of the budget.
Disney proves you can have all the resources in the world, there is nothing they cannot afford but if the people placed on these projects don't give a single frick it will still be shit. If a single word or tweet out of a Producer/Director's mouth of a project I'm interested in is about diversity, politics, homos, or anything like that rather than how passionate you are about the project itself I tune out and cross it off my list.
This I can accept. They should put a disclaimer or an interview before each ep where Ewan goes through each conquest he had with the money.

It’s not really that extreme. She named her kid after him and he was the first person she went to with the Death Star info. Plus the last time they met was presumably when her age was in single digits, so I doubt her memory of these events are particularly vivid.
