I would guess that large glasses makes it easier to draw eyes and not have the frames get in the way no matter.

I love how Claire is instantly anxious and lacking confidence again after several weeks of her walking around barking orders at everyone, orders that were instantly, unconditionally accepted. I know this comic sucks and none of the characterization is consistent and drama is only manufactured through easily resolved miscommunication, but come the frick on.

Claire was introduced as a bossy know-it-all who uses aggression to make up for lack of confidence and jealousy. I realize Jeph is a hack but Claire being a bipolar b***h is a consistent inconsistency, as it were.
