It's 20 years old. It used to be one of the big webcomics and got its name plastered all over the internet. That means it's one of the webcomics you can find just by Googling "best webcomics" alongside other ancient webcomics.
Do you have anyone from middle school you still hang out with even though they're kind of a dipshit and you don't have anything in common with them anymore, but at this point you've spent more years of your life being friends with them than not so it'd be weird to stop? It's like that. QC isn't good but it's a remarkably even-keel of bad, and when the author actually takes the gloves off and lets himself write weird shit it's deliriously strange in a way no one else has replicated.
