Yep. ANY of the preexisting characters could have had something more complex than milquetoast 'humor' and less positive than a VTuber money shower, but no, it's this fricking moron. There's nothing interesting here, because there's no reason to feel bad for her. She's a 1-dimensional moron, there's nothing to feel but schadenfreude.
We didn't even have some other gimmick to at least form an opinion about before she started being a frickup like with Tilly. She's just been a frickup from the word go, and in a way that's more banal than anything.

Wait, what did Tilly frick up? I recall the basic problems being the repeated and grating pronoun correction, the completely out of character way Hannelore interacted with her, and the general vibe of the character. I don't recall her fricking up much, aside from revealing information to Hanners.
She was an overbearing busybody who was only present because Hanner's mother wanted to exert control over her. The entire arc blew ass so no one's characterization was perfect like you said, but she still came off as grating and overly willing to get herself involved.
I guess I found her actions reasonable. She's not the first character to go gaga about Hannelore (what with being the child of FemBezos*5 and SpaceTesla*20), and Clinton managed to recover and be fairly interesting until the Gayening. I expect a desperate to please first time assistant to someone who they idolize and has never had an assistant to be an overbearing busybody. The Hannermom angle was interesting, too.
