Marten's mom is quite possibly the worst character we've ever seen, outside of Corpse Witch and bit villains. I mean, her reaction to his breakup with Dora was to catch a next day cross country flight, surprise him, demean him, humiliate him, scold him for reacting to the prior 3 items negatively, and offer sympathy to Dora behind his back, and none to her own son.
The thing is, she absolutely should be a good character in addition to being a terrible person, but that whole sequence of events was meant to be interpreted as funny and endearing, not "holy shit, Marten's dommy mommy really fricked with his head". That her antics perfectly explain major aspects of Marten feels like an accident, not an intentional connection by the writing.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but The Big Bang Theory got that dynamic right with Leonards mom. It made comedy out of her controlling tendencies, but without once giving the impression they were okay, because characters didn't treat it like it was okay. Marten's mom flips out the baby pictures as soon as he leaves the room, and his friends are absolutely down with the breach of trust right after he had a major breakup centered on questions of trust.
That's really telling, actually. Questionable Content is so bad at this shit that schlock like The Big Bang Theory does it better.

She literally offered to murder Dora for Marten without a shred of irony.
She's always overcompensated by acting like hot shit even when in over her head. Her introduction was her browbeating Marten for having the gall to have the library job instead of her.
See, there's a very subtle difference between character growth and just straight-up forgetting what the character was like. Heph's case is clearly the latter because he's a fricking idiot.
To have character growth you have to show the steps, what made them change, you know, progression. Instead we have Claire V1 replaced with Claire V2. Happened to Anners, we're currently at the 'Tannelore" release
>Great, my only hope for grandkids are a talking sack of gel toothpaste or Marten LARPing as Humbert Humbert >Might as well see if weirdo science city can install a womb in him and let Claire take charge >...I probably shouldn't jerk off to the though of my son being impregnated by a shemale
>I will keep adding cute robots to my comic until the sun burns out
can't some homophobes b***h to him on twitter about the queer chracters again, so he spite-adds more lesbians and they/them pussy instead of the [insert your favourite transfinite ordinal]th socially inept wacky robot?
Marten's mom is alright
She's the reason why Marten has a rubber spine.
She absolutely prepped his anus for Claire
Must have realized her mistake since she automatically assumes he's pumping loads in every new vegana in his vicinity.

Remember when Claire's whole deal was being insecure and anxious and now suddenly she's a huge know it all b***h
>she's

Oh no, characters growing and changing over time... How ever shall we cope?

Veronica is trying to activate the harem protagonist genes that she damn well knows Marten has
who the frick is liz
Marten's pissing me off with this shit. Just take the harem, homosexual. Even your mom is telling you to go for it.
he doesn't make enough money for child support
Which one is Liz again?
The jellyfish.
remember when this used to be about indie rock
It was a different era and Jacques was a different man.
What he is now isn't a man at all

Do you have a gallery or archive of previous ones?
Moray knows what's up. These sheets were created for organization; punishment is in order for those that go against the all mighty sheet.
Wait is moran chastising the robutt or continuing to list her dismeanours
first of all, that'd be misdemeanors
second, think of it like
>You snooze, you lose!
>You nappa, you get slappa!
>You slumber, a cucumber!
martins mum realised moray is probably her best bet at a grandchild, so started the angle shooting immediately

I think more than any of the AI stuff, Marten having a womb installed would trigger my "manmade horrors" response.
We have such sights to show you.
>Liz isn't my girlfriend
Reconsider, Marten.
e-girl folly is a underestimated subset of stranger danger.
True
Damn, Martin's mom wants grandkids bad!
This reads like shit. I can't make sense of it.
Marten's still on the phone with his mother
