A lot of kids suddenly end up on an island with no idea how, most of them quickly fall prey to the local wildlife and the survivors end up each finding their own way to survive as well as different aspects of the island, with one kid even making contact with a native kid who pretty much say the natives are watching the kids and don't care if they live or die but doesn't mind giving the kid a few pointer about what he just stumbled upon.
It quickly become clear that new arrivals is a common occurrence on the island, with multiple monsters having specialized traps to lure the kids and at least one kind end up 'monsterified' to some extent and serve both as a mascot and an effective frontline guy.
Still not sure if each initially surviving kids goes on to form their own factions with subsequent kids who arrive later and look for their guidance to survive or if they form a close knit group together without factions.
One of the big twist is that regardless of spending years on the Island, the kids don't grow up nor age and the native reveal / the kid who received guidance from the native find out that to 'grow up', you need to fulfil some conditions and acquire a bunch of stuff in a very similar manners to how the monsters turn into more dangerous monsters.

      Anonymous

Cast is undecided but in term of role you'd have at least one 'Zen Hunter' archetype who's main thing is having observed the monsters and their habits as well having the know how and experience to gather material and build (more sophisticated with time, experience and material available) weapons and traps.
One Native kid, who pop up from time to time, makes clear the native civilization is capable of a lot more than the kids but stay out of sight and serve as an occasional exposition fairy.
One 'nerd / explorer' kid who's good at avoiding danger while also diving deeper into the island's bullshit and collecting information.
And one 'monsterified' kid who mostly serve as the direct muscle and mascot of the group.
There'd probably be at least 2 more kids but I've listed the essentials.

A young prince of a small kingdom that was conquered is left wandering alone in a world he doesn't know (because he always lived isolated in his castle) meets the son of a farmer that was killed by bandits and together they become adventurers for hire while learning about each other and their misfortunes (for example, the prince would have to learn to be humble and do the "unrefined" things peasants to survive, while the peasant would often strive to learn more from his "teacher" and friend).
And no, they wouldn't be gay for each other, at least not canonically. Focusing on their adventures while throwing subtle homobait from time to time to bait fujos and SJW would maximize the success of the show.

I had this idea since Middle School:

    >The embodiments of pure good and evil fought each other causing them a mutual defeat.
    >Both embodiments exploded and all that was left was a microscopic particle of each.
    >It took 2000 years for both particles to grow until they regained 1% of their strength.
    >They need to regain their strength quicker, but for this they need a “host”.

    >The embodiment of good found a sociopath and sweary punk.
    >Meanwhile, the embodiment of evil got a whimsical and oblivious toddler.

    >To complete the ritual the deities must transform into the host’s choice of a pet.

    >The punk told the embodiment of good to turn into a fearsome and repulsive snake.
    >The toddler asked for a cute bunny with floppy ears.

    >The punk treats the snake like shit and tortures him psychologically like making him eat & kill innocent mice.
    >The toddler pampers the bunny with lots of cute sets and suits.

    >Both the punk & the toddler are siblings living next to each other’s rooms.
    >The “pets” can only speak to their owners, so neither know about the other.
    >Punk often menaces snake to make him eat his brother’s bunny in front of him.

    >The siblings and the pets aren’t the protagonists, but rather the “presenters”:

      >Both the snake and the bunny drop eggs with their “subs”.
      >>— The embodiments of “honesty”, “lust”, “solidarity”, “vandalism”, etc.
      >They need to make their “subs” grow to regain their power.
      >Subs will hatch from the eggs as human deities and strike the town with their powers.
      >Subs will get defeated each episode, becoming a particle and picked as pets of people that meet them on the streets.

      >Wisdom becomes a cat of a clumsy schoolgirl.
      >Modesty becomes a chihuahua of a celebrity.
      >Doubt is a bicephalous lizard of a random guy.
      >Greed became a parrot of a clerk.
      >Lust got the worst karma, keeping his human form but still being a pet of a perv.

      >Snake leaves his eggs to help someone in need, but he has to keep it as a secret from the punk.
      >Bunny enraged when the toddler painted his demonic eggs as Easter eggs, but at least it’s easy to make the toddler spread them in the city.

A straightforward adventure of the week series about some random kid who through happenstance finds himself continually beefing with various weird supernatural forces and aliens.
Minimal continuity besides changes brought about by season finales. New upgrades and setting changes.

So this is an incredibly vague and generic, but I mostly just write novels and I am looking more for the actual how of script writing and planning of animated series. I've looked at videos but that's a fricking mixed bag and the bibles I've found online have been for stuff that's more SOL.

Reading it over, it almost reminds of me some TTRPG's I've read and that is actually a great way to go about outlining this because of the adventure of the week format.
I'll get to work moving it from the more novel oriented outline I have now to something akin to that.
Now I just have to figure out how scripts work, but youtube is jam packed with shit on that subject.

I don't really know of any either. The reason for it is to spice up the variety of the planned show.

Even throwing in all kinds of weird shit, there's a point where having the adventures in the same hub over and over again gets old, and because I don't want to do something that has to be watched in order being able to look at the setting will tell you the season, the rules the character has to follow in terms of abilities and roughly what is going on in his life.

Sounds like Ben 10, the other regular Cinemaphile posters probably havent caught on yet because you didn't add a ginger female cousin to the character for them to pedolust over.

I misread and thought it was a different kid every episode, and tbh an anthology with shared lore would be sweet. Every episode is the tension of when or even whether or not the protag will figure out the common mechanics of said supernatural weirdness, and the character-specific way they meet the challenge. Eternal Darkness for kids.

Main character was trained since childhood by his ex-military dad next to some slasher villain's hunting grounds, the slasher villain is inspired by Jason Voorhees / is Jason if you manage to get the rights to use him.
The twist come when a final girl defeat Jason again and leave with whatever soul bullshit he'd have used to come back normally without knowing and it's revealed the main character and his father were part of the slasher's family when the slasher was still normal and the dad never forgot them and that's why they stayed in such a dangerous place and also why they weren't targeted by the slasher.
Since the dad is too old, the main character is sent by him to recover the soul bullshit and the rest of the show is the main character pursuing the 'Final Girl' who keep running into other slasher situations which the main character has to solve to get the soul bullshit back.

A cartoon about a group of cute schoolgirls in an all-grade school located in a rural area. Each of them have tons of misadventures both inside and outside the school grounds. The series is mostly slice-of-life, but it does have some comedic and crazy stuff there with a nice adventurous feel to it when they travel in different places.

Any ideas for main girls involving names, ages, and personalities are welcome.

How many girls does this show focus on? Are you taking inspiration from anything aside from Lucky Star? For example, do you want the comedy to be akin to a parody movie, all fast paced and whatnot, or something slower?

        >How many girls does this show focus on?

        About 7-9 girls.

        >Are you taking inspiration from anything aside from Lucky Star?

Yeah, basically from classic comics (such as Bones and Tintin) and children's cartoons (such as Spongebob and Loud House), as well as other slice-of-life anime (such as Azumanga Daioh and Non Non Biyori).

        >For example, do you want the comedy to be akin to a parody movie, all fast paced and whatnot, or something slower?

Somewhere in-between, it has plenty of funny and weird moments but at the same time, it's also very comfy and whimsical.

An average family living in a dystopian cyberpunk world. The father is a cop working for the police corporation, the wife is a high level android with a murky past, the daughter is a rebellious computer hacker who gets bullied at school, she's adopted because androids can't have kids. They also have a snarky A.I house assistant and an uplifted pet dog with superhuman intelligence. Mysteriously the wife ends up pregnant which is supposed to be impossible. Meanwhile the daughter gets in trouble when she gains access to the dark and hidden corners of the cyberspace through the use of a black market chip implant, eventually coming across a cult like group who want to transcend the boundary between artificial life and humans. The dad and talking dog end up forming a kind of buddy cop duo to solve all of this.

Based. More cyberpunk should focus on how a society like that would actually manage to function. I wonder if that never happens because it would be depressingly close to real life's socioeconomic dynamics.

Mom gets her son out of the basement. She misses him after a while and goes out on a hunt to find him to get him to move back in. She sees bits of him everywhere.
The show will have her exploring the human psyche through other strange characters she comes across during her journey.
At the climax of the show, she will realize that all of the characters with mental health issues were schizophrenic hallucinations representing her own shattered psyche. She will come to the realization that her son died years ago and her entire journey was her own shattered mind trying to come to terms with the grief she has suffered.

My show is about a cartoon studio that no one cares about and the sad and depressing lives of the people that work at that studio. A girl that tries to remain optimistic but knows everything is going to shit, an egotistical boy that doesn't do anything but gets paid anyway because he's the son of an executive, and a manager that's never around but always bossy when he is present. The pilot episode is about everyone getting together to create a show and "revive" their network, and soon enough everyone in the studio gets together to pitch in after initally being skeptical, but it all ends in the pitch getting denied anyway because of one little thing the executives didn't like which pisses everyone off. The message is sometimes things just don't work out in life no matter who you are. The show is essentially a drama/comedy in a workplace with a bunch of people from different backgrounds, which really shouldn't get along, but somehow against all odds they're able to get along (sometimes).

Just in terms of monetization, animation is a complete crapshoot. If you make anything remotely that adults dont throw money at on youtube, your options are limited. Kids dont donate to patreon for cartoons, and youtube animation and in general recently has been hell in terms of COPPA and shit getting demonetized for reasons unknown (and you're also always at mercy of algorithm, ive seen plenty of channels drop off that are animated).

        >for reasons unknown
The reasons are very much known, it's called 'broadcasting networks bribing youtube', same reason Jim Can't Swim was destroyed so big crime TV channels could be safe and 'the crime network' could force everyone on youtube to pay them if they want to show publicly available interrogation tapes.

    Space Taxi Renegade.

Loser weirdo dreams of working as an artist and making his own cartoon or comic despite having no skills, talent or connections. He is a huge nerd and mostly socially inept but still works as a taxi driver to pay the bills. The cartoon would be this sort of introspective look at the life of a really niché nerd with a really specific hobbie and he interacting with his weirdo fans and all sort of different people he meets on his travels.

I thought about this cartoon after hearing about Pan pizza idea for Loki IRL and I thought with myself what kind of cartoon I wish he would create instead. Is pretty much based around him and his friends and character. I think it would be fun, something like a duckman meets mtv Downtown in a futuristic world. Aesthetically speaking it would be basically something out of the heavy metal movie, overly detailed and animated, gross looking, ugly, dirt backgrounds with simple characters and a more fluid animation but still focusing on dialogue and nothing past that.

Hey, I remember contributing the Primal Rage ideas in that thread. Good times.

I'm honestly surprised PR didn't get an animated adaptation back in the 90's. You'd think with all the money dinosaur franchises were making they'd hop on the bandwagon and at least make a cheap, family friendly version to promote the tie-in toys, board games, and console adaptations. Seems like a missed opportunity for a series that honestly had a better setting and story potential than Mortal Kombat.

DC girls mixed with (weaboo moment) Asobi Asobase
    .
    There's four girls
the first one is the big, mommy like Amazonian - Wonder woman. she towers over all the other girls, she's menacing looking and in front of the enemies she's a badass but when they all alone, she's the most girly of them all, there's a scene in my head in which they are all locked inside the enemies trap, Wonder woman stands up and say "step aside" She starts pacing, the ground shaking with each step she takes, she grabs the door handle with a single hand and try to open but it doesn't bulge because it's made out of Kryptonian titanium or some bullshit then she let go of the handle and goes like "I can't doooo iiitt!" while crying.
    The second girl
Is the goth low energy - Raven
she's always quiet and tagging along, but she is the most badass one, she's similar to toph from Avatar
She's always quiet and on her own, but the third girl is super attached to her follows her around and hugs her all the time.
I have this idea in my head in which all the girls are on the ground, almost defeated and then you only hear Raven's voice echoing throughout the room "everyone..close your eyes!"and you see this big menacing Shadow monster.. that's Raven enraged form!
    The third girl
Is teeny tiny, she has to be 1m30 or 1m50 and everybody makes jokes about how tiny she is. But she's curvy ass hell, she looks like leana lovings. I have a scene in my head in which Raven is eating something and then she pass out, because she's exhausted and this tiinny girl sees her sleeping and lays by her side and rest her head on Raven's shoulder. And another scene in which Raven sees her sleeping and covers her with a blanket (Aaaawnn)
    The fourth girl
Is a tomboy she's rebelling from her father - bat girl. she doesn't like girly things and she really wishes she was a guy, but from time to time she has bursts out of nowhere "oh my God I loved this dress Wonder woman!!!"

There is a dirty diseased smelly homeless guy who lives in the gutter of a medieval city. Every day he makes his way to the main open courtyard area where a medical triage area has been set up for soldiers from the front line. He waits until the nurses/orderlies leave the critical injury tent, sneaks in, and puts a chair in the middle of the area. He then tells the injured people inspiring and captivating stories of his life as young farmer-turned soldier-turned commander of the military, ranging from stories about love, loss, revenge, hatred, war is hell, and everything in between. Each episode ends when a medical person enters the tent and sends him away. The series finale has one of the terminally injured ask why he does this and the guy explains he's a prophet of Nurgle and offers the soldiers the choice to dissolve all pain and suffering if they join chaos.

and it's just a one-season show in every episode we see both of them interacting and developing their love-hate relationship and friendship and the season finale will have a plot twist.

but if the producers asked for another season, after serval years and another major event in Cody's life, he will meet another friend of his imagination or maybe just an old friend with a new look, okay so basically we see Cody meets Eve who is Steve as a female and no it's not a troony thing it's more of Cody loneliness (and horniness) manifesting into turning his old friend into a girl to comfort himself and even Steve/Eve will ask and joke about this.

That sounds like a fun webshow or something like The Life & Times of Tim where the focus is only the script and dialogue and some really basic visuals to guide the viewer. Probably also incredible doable by almost anyone here, even you, given you have the vivace to go through it.

I have this idea of a world in which vampire tried to take over but were exterminated by the military.

The show is about a vampire hunter. But really it's not a cool job, instead they go during the day and stake sleeping vampire in their nests. A guy is living paycheck to paycy killing vampires and drinking after work.

Until the day he finds his ex as a vampire and, and instead takes her back to an abandoned house. But unfortunately as soon as she wakes up the house becomes swarm with vampires.

Basically, the premise is there’s this mother whose husband walks out on her before the baby is born. Out of a good intentioned desire to keep her son from leaving her, she keeps him inside the house 24/7 from birth to his 18th birthday, with no intentions of ever letting him go. Spiro (the son), never goes to school, never makes friends, any of that. Instead, his replacement for the outside world is Television. He grows up glued to the set, watching all the mind rotting junk imaginable. On his 18th birthday, either through an accident or on purpose, he ends up getting outside of the house, and through a comical string of events accidentally stealing an expensive sports car and riding off in it. Now, not only are the police in pursuit of him, but so is his mother, who is dedicated to tracking him down and bringing him back home. Spiro eventually decides while on the run, that he wants to take this opportunity to travel, make friends, and learn everything he can about the world. The basic structure of an episode is Spiro arrives at a new location (which can be basically anywhere on earth, for comical effect his sports car is able to just drive through oceans to other continents), and becomes fixated on a subject which can range from things like love, war, concerts, DMV’s, practically anything under the sun that you could write a 22 or 11 minute episode about. Now the main conceit of the show is that because Spiro only knows what he’s learned from TV, he has a very skewed, maybe slightly innocent, view of these topics. The episode basically follows him realizing how his TV fictional view on a subject doesn’t always line up with the reality, and him having to deal with that. As he goes on his adventures, he can slowly start to pick up friends and enemies that pop in and out of his life as he goes along The theme is pretty much “TV can give you the wrong ideas, try living your life”.

Cinemaphile-themed anime where the protag anon has to fight his way through the ranks of various "generals" to get to the final boss, each one patterned after a different general thread. (progressively more difficult board tiers of enemies? finally defeats blues boards then discovers he has to level up significantly to take on yellow boards?) (also fights various mods?)

This isn't so much a cartoon as it is a comic, but I thought it would be fun to pitch it.

In the late 1930s, Wilson, a detective in small town Chicago, is called into the station to interview a very bizarre man who was recently taken in. This man, who goes by the name Henry, is a time traveler for the year 2030, who returned to the past on a self-appointed mission to prevent historical disasters or incidents from happening. He was originally aiming for the 1920s, where he would use his future knowledge to try and prevent the Great Depression and economic collapse, but arrived too late and wound up here.

Henry, while well-meaning and genuinely good, views the past as "backward," noting segregation, racism, and general lack of technology compared to his time as examples. He's a guy who means well, but sees himself as "better" because he's from a more advanced time. Wilson, while gruff and cynical, is a man who has strong morals and values and is trying to find a way out of the Depression-fueled sense of hopelessness the country is in.

As Wilson and Henry try to understand each other, Henry's time machine is stolen by failed would-be mob boss Edgar (or "Eddie"). Eddie uses Henry's time machine to go into the future and steal advanced weaponry and information from different time periods (i.e, faster cars from the '70s, stock information on rising companies so he knows what to invest in, etc) which he uses to his advantage.

By the time Henry returns to his time period, Eddie's interference has meant that Eddie is now the most richest and most powerful man in the world. The story then follows Wilson and Henry's adventure across the future and the past as they try to repair the timeline and stop Eddie.

Wilson and Eddie are designed like 1930s comic characters, while Henry is animated like a modern-day stylized cartoon-- sharp, angular, compared to the pen-and-ink style of Wilson and Eddie, symbolizing the difference between the two time periods.

Some wouldn't change much like the Monster Island idea since they are very isolated by nature but others like the Super Car NEET one would change a lot since each location could be another show.

The Slasher idea would probably also be affected a lot, the final girl could probably get allies from the different shows at each location instead of only having herself and the MC's indirect help.

One day he gets bored of his life and decides to snag a flying machine to seek adventure and comes across some yellow kingdom in the sky. 15 years after a global disaster wiped out a good chunk of Earth's population and wrecked a bunch of places, a band of scavengers with mercenary bodyguards find an underground lab with a soldier who was in suspended animation for 20 years because he was poisoned and there was no cure at the time. Now he has to tag along with them, and after proving his abilities to them, convinces the mercenaries to stay longer, because they want to recruit him, but he still has to get a cure for the poison, and the doctor on the scavengers' landship might be able to make it if he gets the data from when the cure was being worked on before the calamity. Also, nobody actually remembers what actually happened during the disaster, so that's also a mystery, and our protagonist, the soldier guy, wants to know, because he was engaged, so he's worried about what might have happened to his fiancée.
Also, some people born after the big bad world ending thing happened have super powers, but they aren't all unstoppable against "normal" people. And did I mention that there are several different kinds of weird monsters running around too? Because there are, so our "heroes" have to deal with a lot of different problems.
And the world was already in a high tech future. And whenever anybody uses terms like apocalypse or apocalyptic to describe how the world went to shit, they are immediately called out on that being a dumb way to say it, because apocalypse doesn't actually mean end of the world, or even just big disaster.

Wait, nevermind, that was my idea for a book series.

I've posted this a few times before but might as well post it again since I have made absolutely 0 progress on this idea since last time
    Lazy pitch:
    >It's like a combination of Psychonauts, and Sky High, and that summer camp episode of goosebumps
    Full pitch:
    >Superheroes are commonplace and basically a regular professional occupation
    >Heroes have kids
    >They want their kids to get a handle on their powers from a young age, but since most superheroes are self-taught, sometimes they just don't know how to teach their kids how to hero properly
    >Universe's superhero association thing assembles together to create an educational system for superheroes but not a flying school that would be dumb
    >Instead it's a summer camp hidden underneath a large holographic mountain range
    >Our protagonist is a kid who is going to this summer camp for the first time, has stories from his older brother about it
    >Summer camp uses outdoor activities to educate young superfolk on how to control their powers and use them correctly
    >Our protagonist makes friends, enemies, usual stuff
    >At the end of the summer, it's time for everyone to go home
    >Turns out the borders of the camp have been blocked off by a cabin in the woods style barrier
    >Kids can't get out, and it seems like none of the heroes are coming for them
    >At night, strange monsters begin to emerge from the woods and attack the camp
    >Someone knows more than they're letting on, overarching mystery of who is responsible
    >Long-term conflict of how they're going to get out
    >And most importantly, overarching mystery of why the parents haven't shown up
Why yes I still haven't figured out those last three questions after SEVEN FRICKING YEARS how could you tell?
    Elevator pitch:
    >Summer camp for superheroes but at the end of the summer someone has trapped them in the camp and they need to find out how to escape and why their parents haven't come
    Even lazier pitch:
    >Just give me a fricking Psychonauts cartoon goddamn it

    An unfinished drawing.
VERY hard to explain what it's about
    >Field of weird ethereal grass with a giant-ass pit in the center and weird ruins throughout the field.
    >Occasionally the field births these childlike elemental beings that have a little society built around these ruins
    >Occasionally void monsters crawl out of the pit to attack. Pure nothing.
    >But not to worry, these elementals have tools that channel their power they can use to fight back and stuff
    >We follow the journey of a newborn light elemental who must overcome trauma stemming from an event that he experiences in the first three episodes
    >There's a lot of delving into the pit to find knowledge and stuff, along with a ton of kickass fight scenes

This music kind of sets the tone.

Honestly I don't think I did the concept justice. Words escape me for what it's supposed to be described as. The basic format is

      >All while a slowly developing mystery arc as to how the frick this world works is slowly unveiled
      >Along with that our MC learns how to live and calm the frick down. See, one of his first impressions of the world was something terrifying, so the friends he makes slowly make him realize the world doesn't suck as much as he thinks

It’s difficult to word what kind of vibe I’m aiming for. It’s like early Bionicle + Castle in The Sky in terms of general vibe, at least when the dangers of the Pit aren’t involved. Because when that’s involved all humor or warmth is drained from the scene and our characters have to fight for their lives against monsters made of nothing.
The void monsters are intentionally drawn in a different artstyle and are designed to look physically impossible

Oh, and there's a 2-year timeskip mid-series, showing how some characters have changed and whanot. Look, I'm trying to put this pitch into words. There's a lot of important details I'm not including and such. Like how the pit contains biomes in of itself, defying all laws of nature. Like, there's somehow a snow-capped mountain with a blizzard down there.

would work with "in the most unlikely places" subtext. He never even talks to that girl, but through getting his shit together (sleep, posture, health, scheduling, mentality, etc.) he builds human connections and works towards a personal goal heavier than lifting.

An "oversensitization" sequence could lead into a sharp visual and sound design cutoff for lifting. Little problems of life play on a shutter, annoying sounds grow loud and warped, dutch angles, etc. etc. ,black, then the clink of weights and racking after a set. Dovetailing into a talking sequence with gym bro and "plot" part of an episode.

One episode with no fanfare just has a girlfriend for the rest of the run.

A little boy wakes up in a world where "all abandoned things turn up". While there he meets a cosmonaut dog that was abandoned during the space race. The boy insists he wasn't abandoned but lost and is desperate to get home. Wacky adventures ensue in a Alice in Wonderland style crazy world that doesn't make sense. Occasional flashbacks to the MC's home life, in a distorted and out of place art style, that hint of divorce, abuse, and drug abuse but are vague enough to hopefully get past sensors. The messages will be about opening up to others, discovering self respect, and taking control of the things you can.

The story begins a decade after a great war between a typical “Space Democracy” vs “Space Fascism” in mecha suits.

The aftermath is that the Space Democracy has won, but has set up a military police force to enforce peace. This is gradually devolving into an authoritarian state where the military police are becoming the dominant power.

That being said, there are various rebellions and subcultures which are starting to form. The two of note are fragments of the space fascists and a collection of former soldiers from the Space democracy who wish to overthrow the military police.

One day, the leader of the latter catches wind of a new project by the Military Police, a new mecha that will change the balance of power. He attempts to capture/destroy the weapon but is stopped by the leader of the military police.

However, this battle forces the colonialists to evacuate. The story focuses on a group of colonialists (mainly a bunch of idiot kids) who in evacuating, accidently stole the new super weapon and now must figure out what to do after making enemies with the military police.

        Yep, I'm a moron.

In general, it'd be more of a tribute to 70s and 80s anime, especially Gundam.

The rival character on the military police side would be a blonde twat who aspires to the be the perfect soldier as he wants to change the solar system for the better. The rival character from the rebel groups would be a former princess who greatly enjoys combat and views the system as something which has been hers by birthright.

The big twist is that the "great hero" of the rebellion would become the final antagonist, with his experiences in both wars convincing him that totalitarianism is the only way forward.

Mine's about a world where there's magic and mystical creatures and such, but the land, plants, and creatures are withering slowly because the magic is drying out. In the center of one of the lands that still has magic, there is an academy that teaches spellcasting to the younger generations and the protagonist attends there. The story is more based on the monster of the week idea, where the protagonist goes around trying to not get involved in too many problems, but ends up doing so anyways and has to help fix them, making friends with both other students, people from outside the academy, and some forest creatures. All while some entity from the far beyond is trying to reach this world by manipulating people's minds and indirectly causing the protagonist to go to places and do things that "it" needs to be done to in order achieve its goal. Said entity shows up in people's dreams and through reflective surfaces, always borrowing how others look to present itself. The plot twist is about how the entity and the magic drying out are directly related, and why the entity targets the protagonist specifically.

I'm going to be honest. I don't want to make a cartoon.

I want to make a TTRPG.

But I'm not stupid. I know it basically impossible to get people really invested in a random ttrpg setting ex nihilo. Especially the modern scene that's been more or less gutted by dnd exploding in popularity.

So I'm going to make a show with as much broad appeal bait as possible to trick people into getting into knowing about all my autistic little races and cultures and overlapping magic systems. You'll have no choice but to eventually read the entire 500 page rules book.

Two sisters and a introvert nerd friend find an eldritch talking tome which unlocks the various layers of a true bleak reality and places no mortal should roam..

The older sister is a med student and the younger is about to be a dropout; antisocial and aggressive. Both sisters are into the occult and myth/history

Esther is the "friend" she is kinda a pokey character she ends up joining the villains first by choice, but force to "ascend" "Flesh is weak".. Sav...I like it here..

The book houses the true villain. They wish to bring forth "something" "the formless future"...
Eventually the voice in the book corrupts the younger sister who is more learned in the occult and strains the oldest in the in-between.

The oldest has to travers the void causeways and intersections (cisterns) meeting different entities/races and hitching a ride or sneaking into different layers or worlds. Gaining support and making friends trying to get closer to her sister before the reclamation of the "Old Gods".

Tying the evil to a book is a little too evil dead. But I think you have something with a female med student and lovecraftian horror. If it took place at a hospital you have a lot of chances for suspense. Maybe there's patients with lovecraftian sigkness nobody can cure. As the dhow goes on they juy keep getting worse.

Aight then, here’s a metric frickton of stuff I left out

          >Each elemental is given a tool when they’re first “Born.” The tool exists to focus their elemental powers. While they don’t know exactly how it works, modifying and upgrading it inexplicably comes quite natural.
          >There used to be some kind of society living in the pit, probably due to all the ruins. It’s a wide, canyon-like area, so someone living in it isn’t far fetched. The ruins are also packed with important resources and knowledge. The more
          >Void monsters are normally glass cannons who, while able physically absorb almost anything, are very vulnerable to attacks due to said attacks being “Something” that it can’t encompass. Like, a still rock is easily assimilated, but a struggling elemental or swung blade causes major damage. Therefore, they build bodies out of whatever they can find in order to better move around and fight in the upper levels of the pit.
          >Everyone has a job. Currency doesn’t exist in their society, so it’s more a matter of them doing much needed things. Sewing clothing, farming, teaching people important things, guarding, and so on.
          Some of the characters include
          >A fire-type explorer. Very warm-hearted big brother figure. Uses a big torch hammer
          >An ice chick who guards the village. Actually sweet but constantly busy. Uses a shield that does ice stuff
          >A water type teacher and fisherman. Younger than he looks/acts, and uses an oar as his tool.
          >A light type. Newborn, inexperienced, and subjected to a horrifying trauma within his first day of life. Needs constant emotional support. Uses a knuckle with a sort of mirror on it
          >A lightning type. Built like The Mountain and is the strongest sonuvab***h in the village. Also has a silly fighting style/battle cry. Uses a lightning rod
And so on and so forth

Exec's are gonna want Batman, so I'll give them "Gotham's Worst". A show dedicated to Batman villains, but not the ones you might expect.
    Some potential episodes:
    >Killer Moth successfully steals a rare israeliteel. It's worth over a million dollars...and nobody wants to buy it.
    >Polka-dot Man gets more attention than he can handle when all of Gotham realizes how powerful his gear is. Be it the police, Bane, or the Joker, everyone is after the dots.
    >The Terrible Trio have bagged every animal to ever walk, swim, or fly. Now they hunt the most dangerous game of all: the batman.
    >The Wonderland Gang present themselves as a traveling troupe, but a recent string of robberies suggests there's something shady behind the curtain.
other potential inclusions would be Hugo Strange, Orca, Mime, Calendar Man, or Lock-Up.

I see this as more of a comic than a cartoon, but:
    >LONG AGO
    >A family of gods are worshipped by humanity
    >In exchange for worship, the gods blessed the children of those who worshipped them with powers based on their own
    >There are 6 gods, 4 elemental, but 2 non-elemental. One of Fate/Luck, and the other of Chaos also known as the God of Fools
    >One day, the 6 special mcguffins of the gods went missing, and the God of Fools blames the God of Fate
    >Yes he actually stole them there's no misdirect, he's just an butthole
    >The other gods punish him by sealing him away when he refuses to return the stolen items
    >Shortly after this, the other gods mysteriously vanish
    >Children born with elemental powers became rarer over time
    >After hundreds of years, only the royal families and rare standouts have elemental powers
    >Those people are captured by royal families and forced into the "honor" of marrying into their family to keep the elemental bloodlines strong
    >Worship of the gods is mostly long-forgotten
    >Protagonist is the last surviving member of the original worshippers of the God of Fools
    >Long history of his family dying in ridiculous, ironic ways
    >Other lead is his adopted sister, who is secretly the last surviving worshipper of the God of Fate
    >She was raised to eventually kill him before being inserted into his family at a young age
    >But she must wait until he fulfills a prophecy that he would find the God of Fate and free him
    >One day, while trying to scrape together some money by raiding an ancient temple, male lead accidentally finds and frees the God of Fate
    >In a way that also connects the god of fate to his soul, now the god of fate hovers around him like a JoJo stand
    >Sister can't kill him because the god would be stuck bound to his corpse
    >Adventure ensues to disconnect Fate's soul from the last Fool
    >For that they need to bring back the other gods by finding the items that Fate stole
There's more to it but that's the gist that fits in the text limit.

A series about a young cute witchling who accidentally shrinks a normal teen girl when she tries to chase her down, after the witch unintentionally annoyed her. Unfortunately since it's forbidden magic and she's only just a witch-in-training, she's unable to grow the girl back so the witch has no choice but to keep the girl for the time being; mostly inside a glass bottle.

The series involves around two trying to find a way to turn the teen girl back to her original size. At the same time, there are moments of them having some fun from time to time while the girls form bonds with each other.

      Crossover of these shows when?

            >Both has medieval features in the setting

The series is actually set in a normal world that just happens to have fantasy elements to it. In other words, it's similar to Harry Potter.

            >They both have main cast being young kids who are having a adventure
            >Both casts grew appreciate one another’s despite the circumstances

            That's correct

            >Also want to silence any Twitters fans with obsessing gay ships to the main characters replacing Crackship

Never really thought of that and if I did made characters end up together, it would actually make Twitter fans shit on me for "normalizing pedophilia" considering that they are literally like several ages apart.

I'll continue to beat this same drum until someone picks up the easy cash on the table but SOMEONE in cartoons needs to rip off the popularity of shitty horror games and creepy pasta that's insanely popular among young children. That shit gets billions of views, a whole section in the action figure aisle, every single one of my little cousins between 6 and 11 talk about shit.

So at least one path you can take is a sort of photo negative reversal of adventure time. An absurd world but instead of colorful and whimsy its all grim and hot topic halloween shit. Rip off five nights, yume nikki and other rpg maker horror, little fears, slendemen and backrooms and longhorse. And that youtube and twitch shit little kids never shut the frick about.

Main characters probably include some thing like a e-celeb caricature, grown man with an exaggerated fear response and silly voices, some flavor of little girl, either innocent victim or slowly growing evil edgelord. Maybe both. Complicated but intentionally obfuscated lore, maybe hide a bunch behind puzzles and ciphers and ARGs.

Shit will be crack to kids.

Perpetual war between magical girl protagonists and hot blooded shonen boy protagonists gets made complicated when a tomboyish girl and a feminine boy both get the wrong set of powers and also fall in love.

Occasional running gag of pathetic western cartoon protagonists trying to get both sides to make peace and failing miserably.

A trio of kids go out into the woods to blow off their self-made bombs and shoot guns. They're in high-school and aren't the highest on the social structure. They find a body of the Governor's brother and due to their own youth and stupidity try to destroy it. This involves really ridiculous shenanigans live trying to Weekend at Bernie's the body, seeing if flesh is flammable (With lighters and gasoline) and moving the body around to scare hunters pretending it's a ghost.

Season 1 ends with one of the characters eventually cooking the meat of the dead man and turning it into empanadas, which unfortunately turns this very right wing character into a ghost who decides to haunt these boys as they go to college.

The hope for if we ever get a season 3 is they basically become hyper-liberal Ghostbusters

I'd call the story "The Anarchist Cookbook" at first but I'm open to different ideas. I'll admit - I started with the title like a Matt Groening fanboy.

A dragon decides that if they can send knights to kill her and steal her shit, she can send a knight to kill the king and steal his shit. Lacking any actual knights, she finds a peasant boy who dreams of knighthood and offers him the chance to become her knight in return for helping her out.

Having zero understanding of what that actually means with both having very limited preconceptions of knighthood, fairy tales and attempted murders between them, essentially, they embark on a journey to turn him into the best knight in the land while dodging various people sent to kill the dragon and meeting numerous unusual characters along the way, ranging from a thief who pretends to be a wizard via various tricks to a girl from a traveling circus who actually is just straight up a witch, providing a solid comedic element and varied way of problem solving to bounce off the more reliable and "plain" main characters and acting as a support to their optimist/cynic dynamic.

Their most frequently recurring enemies are a knight and her squire seeking to slay the dragon so her squire can be fully knighted and herself promoted to the King's Guard, though others such as a band of tribal monster hunters from the far south, a very, very lost samurai who is no less deadly for his inability to find his way home, and a werewolf con-artist provide a range of enemies and problems from the serious to the somewhat comedic in various ways.

The primary theme would be talking about the concept of responsibility and integrity both inherent and assumed, and even presumed.

The fake wizard thief can be a total femboy and gay for the lead to shut up twitter in a way that's moderately less obnoxious than the usual thing if it's just out there and a character trait for one character from the start rather than the entire fricking cast or just some asspull pandering homosexualry.

Probably would have either gone for something simple but respectable ala ATLA, which about matches the tone I'd be aiming for really, something like "The Dragon's Knight" or some such, maybe some riff on the MC's name.

I normally approach this from the angle of "You don't make a show for you, you make it for the audience with maybe some stuff you feel is cool" since just jerking yourself off and letting others bathe in the cumshower if they want is how you get fricking trainwrecks like Steven Universe, but one small indulgence I'd probably allow myself is giving it a bit of an irish bent to the MC, with a family name like De Paor or Mac Diarmada and maybe teach some people how to actually pronounce Gaelic.

Mac Diarmada, The Dragon's Knight is short sweet and simple.

If I wanted a more snappy title, maybe Knight's Days or something like that.

The dream would be a syndication ready run on like Cartoon Network or something but I'd be lucky to get netflix.

Honestly if I could draw/animate I'd be willing to give it a genuine shot, I can actually write decently enough I'm told, but since I can't animate and animators first/writers second dominate the independent cartoon industry [not saying that's unfair or anything, just acknowledging the edge there.] it'd never happen.

Solid cast. It's got plenty of potential for hijinks.
            >The fake wizard thief can be a total femboy and gay for the lead
            That's it I'm sold.

I figured if twitter hates traps then traps clearly aren't gay, plus I believe in putting my money where my mouth is in regards to critique, I really do think I could write a better LGBTQ character than most of those homosexuals. And honestly most of the queer frickers I know deserve better written shit anyway I guess, same as most kids deserve better written shit, most people in general really.

A girl and het pet raccoon fall through a magical trash bin to a fantasy world. There, the locals mistake her pet for a prophesied masked hero. The prophecy says the hero will defeat a great evil (who ends up being a cat who’s a real butthole, which makes her realize the prophesied hero actually was supposed to be a raccoon, but she doesn’t figure that out until much later) and obtained a magic wand. The wand is also her only ticket home. So the series is about her and her pet raccoon maintaining this con of being great heroes and recruiting a band of warriors to do all of the actual fighting. One of the main warriors by her side is a goofy dragon guy. Another is a guy who wears striped armor (vaguely raccoonish) based on the prophecy.

For all the people throwing ideas out there, you do realize that it's not so much about how unique the premise is but how said idea is executed. if the story is a black and white epic of a hero vanquishing evil or a gritty view of the human condition through transbian vampires, it doesn't matter if it's in the end written poorly. except for the magnet-turtle guy poster he's going places.

Pre-industrial revolution world. Heavily inspired by celtic mythology and other polytheist cult-religions like greco-roman and norse.
Periods of short, small-scale war are the norm, like in pre-french revolutionary europe. This would be the main source of action for characters as they go on missions and help in the war effort.
Main characters would be teenage to young adults that are being trained for combat or related activities like learning how to forge magical items or potions, treasure hunting, adventuring, etc.
Team-based groups of 3-5 when going out on missions but main setting would be boarding schools and/or guilds with a larger cast of secondary characters.
Whereas the missions would be action-focused, the schools and guilds are where we would see the drama and humour.
The characters would interact with each other in absurd ways to the viewer because they parallel modern life but in a medieval setting where magic integrated into the social institutions and systems which is so unlike our world.
Character growth would happen from the moral dilemmas that result from war and the unusual situations that magic enables. There would also be the usual friendship stuff that you see in academic settings with youth.
I also had a potential twist in mind where dies and then gets to relive the start of the series to make a better future

pulled this out om my ass.

the story is centered around a ghost, called Gossip Ghost. it's a kids show, and the upbeat ghost goes around meeting ghosts from history, generally leading to education about that person's life. it's primarily focused on ghosts that are underappreciated in history, like Nikola Tesla. the story also tries too help kids come to terms with the idea of death, and how it isn't scary, but just moving from one part of the lifecycle to another.

it isn't grim, and it doesn't focus on much serious stuff. there are no overarching plots or major story threads, and how the main character died is never mentioned.

each episode would start with Gossip Ghost hearing 'gossip' about a certain spirit in town.

think something like midnight gospel mixed with absolute madlads, but for kids.

The only reason why I say it should be on adult swim is to get as close to the comic as possible in terms of the blood/violence, very rare swearing, and somewhat scary (for kids) supernatural beings. While Stan Sakai has stated numerous times Usagi is meant to be enjoyed by all ages, tv rating guidelines most likely wouldnt go along of his intentions.

      >The demon can't hurt her and she's extremely stupid and oblivious so any time he tries to poltergeist send her a message she either fails to notice or misinterprets it
      >She's also an accident-prone idiot and if she dies the demon is stuck between planes of existence forever so the demon has to also keep her alive
      >You know the trope with the baby walking through a construction site while the pet tries to protect it? That is the demon's life now.
      >Hinjinks ensue and the demon kind of hovers around her and provides social commentary on the state of modern teenage life from a completely off-base demonic point of view

Instead of focusing on teen drama and weirdo bad guys. Make it about the stake-outs, the job itself of patrolling town and how it’s more exciting than normie life. Think of it more as an excuse to get into fist fights with strangers rather than some super serious political piece about crime. No super villains, just normal crime and disaster events like fires or crashes.
Put focus on the mc learning new tricks and getting better as he goes on. All while struggling make ends meet. Episodic but with continuity so that each episode has its scenario solved by the end.

Vis Factor is a superhero story about a young geek who is involuntarily enrolled in a battle royale game show. Contestants are divided into teams of three and must survive various hazards thrown at them from every corner. The team that remains becomes the winner. Sounds easy, right? Well, there's a catch – all the contestants are injected with a super serum that grants them superpowers. These powers can only be activated during near-death experiences or when the body has high levels of adrenaline. Furthermore, the game encourages players to harm each other if it means advancing to the final round.

As for the geek, he transforms into a beefcake with flying brick powers (minus the flying part) and also serves as eye candy for the ladies/boy gays)

The mysterious emo guy has the ability to generate dark energy feathers that can drain the life force of others and transform into wings. Surprisingly, he also uses this power for field medic purposes.

Lastly, the disgraced former child actress essentially has powers similar to Jubilee from the X-Men.

The Truth Is Out There (working title)

In an urban fantasy take on the cold war, a paranoid conspiracy theorist mage and his freak friends are on a continuous quest to stop a sick frick and make a quick buck.
Individually the each story isargely episodic. They'd focus on whatever paranormal investigation the crew is doing, which would bring them up against everything from the ghost of Hitler, to a KGB werewolf, to the avatar of an elder god.
Running through line for this would be an arc for each of the five main characters. With the main character specifically making it his life's goal to destroy the illuminati (its actually real) only to eventually come to learn not all the evils of the world can be traced back to one source.

What about “Freaks vs the New Order” as a title?

Idk, a high school where teens compete against each other to become valedictorian. Anyone who earns a GPA of 4.0 remains at school, anything lower will be expelled.

One of my older ideas. Noir cartoon about an Atlantis type city.

A plucky team of adventures with a small boy stowaway discovered Atlantis. The boy and the princess fall in love, and decide to start a new town on land in which both atlanteans and humans can co-exist together. This takes place ten years later. The princess who in now an ambassador has gone missing. The boy is now a burn out outlive his fame and was too scared to join the team to their next adventure.

The story venters around a goldfish trying to solve the case. They're a big divide in the city between Atlanteans and humans, and a criminal underground always behind the scenes.

The main culprit is Jimmy fish sticks. He was an honest business man until he refused the fish mafia, and burned down his house killing his family. The gang members were later missing and their DNA turned up in the form of fish sticks sent to the police station sent from Jimmy.

Or a strange connection between the ambassador and a pop idol Sharkina (a female humanoid shark creature) in a dark pool of secrets.
