Yeah, and if I make a character's slogan "Make America Great Again," who do you immediately think of despite the fact that multiple presidents used it as a slogan in the past? If it wasn't an intentional reference, then the writers are morons who don't consider the implications of their choices and they should be insulted for that.
its why the first scene takes place in 1968

Can confirm. I haven't seen a bad one yet. Animals might be my favorite American cartoon period, and I'm currently on season 2 of Sopranos. Watched the first season straight through, only stopping to sleep.
>TV video game man say vaccine not cure zombie sickness >UUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HIM SAY COVID VACCINE NOT REAL!!!!!
don't know why this keeps getting repeated. remember, it's a game/tv show. treatments for fungal infections do exist and vaccines are possible, but we've never really needed them because the only fungal infections humans get usually go away completely on their own. it's a fun concept, but this type of situation would never happen and humanity wouldn't just give up and start bombing cities over a few fungal infections. the more likely scenario is treatment resistant bacteria killing off livestock or making it inedible.
If anyone wants to know the ending, is that the vaccine will probably work but it needs Ellies brain to produce it and she would die in the process, Joel goes full commando rescues Ellie and lies to her that the vaccine never worked, she accepts, cut to black. Amazing ending right up until the sequel ruined everything.
It's implied in the audio files that it will probably work because they figured out that what makes her immune to the spores is a variation of the fungus that resides in her brain and they can make a vaccine out of it.
TLOU is actually about the COVID pandemic
unironically u know it was the writer's room's fave topic. lets put 'slow the spread' in there teehee everyone will be reminded of covid
Slow the spread didn’t originate from Covid you 19 year old. Why do you morons forget life happened for thousands of years before you were born?

yes, it's why HBO shows are so good. the lengths they're willing to go to to make kino is beyond any other studio

>HBO nepotism instead of good casting
He only did it because he knows the chud character he plays gets beaten to death by a LGBTQABRZ+ actor next season

So the director could make his wife the lead?
Actors don't have souls or genuine opinions. He doesn't give a shit.

Cordyceps is just natural selection at work. Earth is better off with less humans.
>Show says something anti-vaccine
>morons on Cinemaphile still find a way to get mad about it
