can someone please explain to me the hate campaign towards this movie?
It makes no sense to me.
I understand the situation about Flash, cause Ezra and DC bullshittery.
But this movie has nothing going on.
Why the hate? I watched it and it's just a simple fun adventure movie. It was not even feminist or anything and the only Black person that was in the movie gets shot and killed and was also semi-evil. So what is seriously going on here?
Is it just because of Kathleen? Cuase I barely see her influence in this movie. Yes the female actress is ugly but her character was alright, she was not the MC and she was also semi-evil. Indie does not get fricked in the ass like Luke. And he saves that stupid b***h several times. In fact he gets really respected in this movie and it was a perfect ending to the franchise.
Agree, the last two Indy movies are optional epilogues for the character, Skull being the optimistic, upbeat one that maintains series conventions and was created by the original creators, and Dial being the pessimistic, dour one that humiliates its lead in favor of less talented replacements and was cynically made by soulless corpotrons and ideologically captured mediocre execs.
The saga should have continued with indi visiting other cultures, in the same vein as the old ones. The problem is that harrison ford got too old and they tried to replace the character, not the actor. Indiana Jones should be like James Bond, different actors representing the same character. The crystal skull was fricking horrendous and it seems that the new one is also going along the same lines.
>I thought I was the only one who posted here about the title's shittiness
how to tell us you're new without telling us
we've been shitting on it since the reveal
Not tht anon, but Indiana Jones is Harrison Ford. You can't recsast it. What you should do is never make another Indy movie again and instead rip him off, just like Lucas and Spielberg did with old serials.
Shit, that's how we got The Mummy with Brendan Frasier and it's kino of the highest caliber.
James Bond is always set in present time so the stories are always accommodating that. You can't have many Indy actors all playing in the 30s and 40s, dipshit.
>James Bond is always set in present time so the stories are always accommodating that
the movies are but the books sure weren't, they were contemporary as frick.
Crusade > Temple > Raiders > Dial > Skull
I always found Raiders a bit boring, though it's still a great movie. I haven't seen Dial but it just can't be worse than Skull, it's not humanly possible.
Even if she's blackmailing Disney executives, surely at some point shareholders will demand she be held accountable. The Disney board is legally obligated to do everything possible to make profit and that simply is not happening under Kennedy's leadership at Lucasfilm
iger and the board are liberal morons who unironically have no problem with tanking the company so long as they think they're doing what's right & necessary.

Indiana Jones was literally pitched to Spielberg as the next best thing to James Bond.
People with your mindset have been thinking that for over 50 years. They get attached to an actor and are terrified if they recast him. The same has happened with batman, james bond and any other famous character. The final product may be good or bad, but It's a risk you have to take to keep the character's story alive. The actor dies but the idea survives.
My ranking (only person in this thread with kino taste):
1. last crusade
2. kingdom of the crystal skull
3. raiders
4. temple of doom
5. dial of destiny
I'm not the first person to come up with this idea, but if they had balls, they should have got Shortround yoked up and continued the dynamic of Last Crusade with Shortround as the adventurer and Indy as his mentor.

Foreign shills
if you have Cinemaphile, just filter this message and you no longer this post or threads.
He could have been Gandalf.
>not even feminist or anything
Begone, shill.
Crusade > Raiders = Temple
Temple > Crusade > Raiders
There are only 3 Indiana Jones movies.
1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
2. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
3. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
I have no idea what these other 2 movies are.
Indy 5 is okay, give it a chance. 4 is shit though
have a nice day shill
go back polBlack person
Does your Disney handler know you use that kind of language?

Imagine being an adult who shills yidsney content on fricking 4chins. How do you not immediately go and have a nice day
someone didn’t get his free ticket at applebee’s, i presume!
Crusade > Raiders > Dial > Skull > Temple
Raiders > Crusade > (Atlantis) > Doom >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Skull
Never gonna watch Dial but I'm sure it's ten times worse than Skull.
>Dial
In retrospect, that was a terrible fricking name. Dial? Destiny? Get the frick out of here.
Thank you. I thought I was the only one who posted here about the title's shittiness. Like a 6-year old came up with it.
>I thought I was the only one who posted here about the title's shittiness

I've seen the Dilate things, but very little highlighting of how it's an actually awful title. So piss off.
nice one bongie, yeah everyone was reaming it for using alliteration. is it a real argument? no. is it a good example of a bad title? yes.
Care to explain why im wrong? Indiana Jones only works when he's in his prime. Old indiana jones is just sad.
Not tht anon, but Indiana Jones is Harrison Ford. You can't recsast it. What you should do is never make another Indy movie again and instead rip him off, just like Lucas and Spielberg did with old serials.

>Indiana Jones is Harrison Ford
No, Indiana Jones is a fictional character that any good looking man can play.
Wrong.
>NOOOO HARRISON FORD NOOOOOOOO
homosexual opinon ngl
yeah because Solo did so well they never made another one
Sure, that was down to recasting. Suuuuure.
It definetly didn't help.
the only recast in solo was going from michael k williams being a half worm space Black to paul bettany being a scarred white mang
Speilberg himself said he would’ve come back if they let him recast Indy
They could have said this about Connery. It's nonsense.
James Bond is always set in present time so the stories are always accommodating that. You can't have many Indy actors all playing in the 30s and 40s, dipshit.

Raiders > Crusade > Temple > There are no other IJ movies.
raiders > crusade > young indy > temple
this is the correct ranking (and i'm someone who enjoys skull)
Young >>>>>>
Crusade > Temple > Raiders > Dial > Skull
I always found Raiders a bit boring, though it's still a great movie. I haven't seen Dial but it just can't be worse than Skull, it's not humanly possible.
Skull > Raiders > Crusade > Temple > Dial
Kathleen Kenedy did it again. Have you said your thanks to her today? She single handedly killed the mouse
Yeah we'll see how long that can last with no hits at all but flop after flop
shareholders will ditch the company as they already have been
stocks keep falling
I can't help but think this is a blockbusting scheme where they use Iger and KK to push wokeness to devalue the company
she's out after indy 5. she's done.
you posting this over and over again won't make it happen, or she would have been fired a few years ago.
2 more weeks!
temple > dial > crusade > raider > skull
Indiana Jones was literally pitched to Spielberg as the next best thing to James Bond.
it is literally ok to hit marketing people on the head with sledgehammers, do it.
Dial 8

you didn't include young indy so your rating is incomplete
Only person who would say crystal skull unironically is some pube haired zoomer homosexual who thinks the prequel trilogy gets a bad rap.
>Dial > Temple
Shill

crusade is a shitty repeat of raiders, i dont get why zoomers worship it.
Disney is dying! Get spent, shill!
old >> nu.
i love the original 3 and that's all i need
You're a fricking idiot

Indiana Jones was never good
Raiders > Crusade > Temple >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> OP is a homosexual
temple > raiders > crusade > farts > burps > sharts > skull > diaphram of disintery
The definitively best way to experience all of the Indy films is through the Lego Indiana Jones games.
We'll know how bad of a bomb this is once the posts stop coming in. It shouldn't be too much longer now.
>Cinemaphile hates a movie they never saw because their fragile white male insecure personality thinks wokeness is an actual thing and not a buzzword
