>Ran for TWENTY FRICKING YEARS
>Only managed to get out 81 episodes plus a couple specials
Was there ever any TV series with a more cursed and glacial production run?

I’m just glad it managed to stay somewhat consistent through the years.
Rick and Morty has been running ten years, managed just 61 episodes, prostituted itself out to every corporate ad it could, spent most of that time arguing with its own fanbase about what the show should be about and finally killed itself because ten years ago they refused to deal with the unacceptable behavior of the star when it was already a problem
VB at least put out 7 good seasons and a movie
My god it’s been 10 years of Rick and morty? Damn. I remember when it was the new big show that everyone liked, how have times changed.
December 2013
It will also be ten years of Steven universe as well
Shit wasn't proven in court. Cope.
Doesn't matter at all, chud.
Oj Simpson.
That's my running back in all pro football 2K8!
Please don’t suck the pickle rick guy’s dick in a thread about an actually good show
Anon thinks everything needs to go to court in order for someone to have done something. He's clearly moron
Yeah. Those people always come off as having skeletons in their own closet to me.
Not only is he a moron, we can also say that he's clearly a mass murderer, a child abuser and an arsonist. Of course we have no proofs, but not everything needs proofs.
It's one of the only shows that consistently got better over time.
I’d rather get a small number of quality episodes over a long time than a bunch of shit quickly. The show was slow to produce for the same reasons it was so good. It was a labor of love by basically two people. I wish there were other shows were the creators get to be in total control. I feel like too many get their quality and consistency wrecked by a revolving door of a writing/directing team and network influence.
I’ll add to this and say I’d even prefer to get a small amount of a great show at a snail’s pace rather than a medium amount of a meh show at a reasonable pace.
It's a project helmed by the same creative leadership across the entire run, and comprised of TWO people to boot, who also did all the writing save for literally a couple episodes when they were crashing and burning iirc. Demanding the same production pattern of the average tv product isn't reasonable or even desirable given what the VB fanbase tended to appreciate about it comes exactly from the fact that it wasn't simply approached as "IP content".
Yep Ben Edlund helped write like three episodes and that’s it.
