Yeah you haven’t watched it, if you did you’re just a profoundly moronic person. You said in your last post “surface level take on Christianity” when there isn’t any take on it at all. Like you admitted in this post the religious imagery is just aesthetics, and most of Evangelions religious aestheticism is taken from israeli mysticism anyway. No one who actually likes Evangelion thinks it has some deep religious message because you’d have to completely misunderstand it to think that, only people who dislike the series claim it has something to say about Christianity.
Watching Evangelion and coming away from it thinking it was thematically shallow is perfectly reasonable, it’s when you try to explain why you thought that you completely embarrass yourself. In the final episode Shinji and the audience are basically spoonfed the ideas of Schopenhauers wills and representations, you could’ve pointed to how unsubtle and in your face it presents its themes to explain why you thought it was shallow, but instead you tried to insist it’s attempting to say something about Christianity, walked that statement back, then said “no it’s actually evangelions fans who think that!”

Game of Thrones is hated now, Star Wars is a famous franchise but not always praised as a masterpiece or anything, NGE now has more people crying about its themes not being deep enough than people praising it for having deep themes, so Hazbin is really the only overrated show here. It’s the most soulless flash animation slop imaginable
