>Read about Korgoth of Barbaria
>People go on and on about how "it's a shame it was never picked up"
>Finally decide to check it out
>mfw it's another lame "SERIOUS BUT TOTALLY NOT LE SERIOUS BECAUSE IT'S LE FUNNY" shitshow like Archer or Venture Bros or Rick & Morty or Moonbeam Shitty
Is this honestly the best American animation can produce? Poop jokes and violence?
I'm glad this shit was never picked up, it's already bad enough dealing with fans of those aforementioned cancertoons, but this would have just been another annoying notch in Adult Swim's subpar offerings. This is the kind of joke I'd expect if the show had been picked up:
has violent diarrhea, so he uses a giant monsters head as a toilet like he's Duke Nukem LMAO
Is this truly worth lamenting over?
also tfw nobody has ever proven me wrong
Americ**ts are incapable of producing anything good. They are backwards mutts and failure of civilization. They export nothing but degeneracy to the rest of the world.
Go back to Cinemaphile
If you want to feel sad about something that never materialized, know that they were gonna make an animated movie based on Red Nails that never happened.
Now that is sad -- but we did get that Turok movie and it's kino.
it wasn't "yet another" anything. it was unique for its time, just because other shows have come out since then that are like it is irrelevant
>complaining about violence in a parody of conan the barbarian
the funniest parts arent even the poop jokes
>the golden goblin
>take 10 of my best men, and some of the weaker ones for laughs
>you will experience a new level of pain....
>Hey Korogth, ever do it in somebody's kitchen before?
woah, woah, woah. Venture Bros. is one of the best shows of all time. word to the wise, watch your mout' OP
>woah, woah, woah. Venture Bros. is one of the best shows of all time.
Maybe at one point but definitely not now
Venture Bros fans are Rick & Morty fans who think they watch Frasier
Have you actually ever watched Frasier?
Or Cheers for that matter?
Frasier is kino but Cheers unironically feels too boomer for me.
If you can't appreciate Cheers, then you have no business with Frasier
my main problem with Cheers is the flanderization of Sam.
he starts out as a good hearted respectable ladies man, but by season 8 he's just an idiotic horndog creep who engages in borderline sexual harassment on a daily basis.
I've been binging the series the past couple weeks so I'm only on season 8. I hope it gets better but I'm pretty fricking sick of Sam.
Rebecca is a lot less annoying than Diane though, so that was an improvement. Although I can already see hints of flanderization for her character too. She started out as a strong female foil to Sam, but now she's turning into a whiny impotent gold digger.
Frasier, Norm, and Carla are the only characters I find consistently funny. Everyone else is hit-or-miss
Frasier was a lot more likable when he was in Cheers tbh
You can't prove an opinion wrong, moron.
You have to be 18 or over to post here.
You're running into another case of built-up thing not reaching your internal expectations. This is why I've avoided movie trailers, game reviews, and more recently online discussion.
Can't people just enjoy stuff and form their own opinions anymore?
Well when people can't shut the frick up about something. I still am trying to empty my head about New Vegas
Thankfully people have shut the frick up about MGS so I'll be able to enjoy them for the first time
New Vegas got this weird cult following where it's the best fallout ever when it's just an expansion pack that had possibly a neater plot (depending on what you're looking at) and ADS. I actually liked it less than Fallout 3 because I couldn't 100% it and had to choose a side so I just never got around to the final-final faction missions that made you.
>makes promo piece like they want to make a cartoon series then they don't want to do all the work
