That's giving him way too much credit. He was constantly put on the backfoot against Scirocco, got slapped aside, one of his foot thrusters grazed, then while he was distracted, Haman cut his one of his arms off, with Scirocco taking out a leg afterwards, he was running the entire time.
you do realize the Hyaku Shiki was a failed mk. II competitor and he was fighting toe to toe with the qubeley that could have defeated the ZZ had haman not been gay for israelitedough? I hate defending the c**t that is char, but what he did was legitimately impressive.

In that case, I can completely understand. The Sazabi was powerful even compared to the Nu Gundam. Yazan is good, probably the best Oldtype pilot in the whole setting, but not Amuro good.

It's indeed a custom Dijeh, it just has a psycoframe equipped, but he doesn't use it for most of the fight. IIRC the one here is the MSK-008s.
It's only a test unit for the psycoframe. The Sazabi is based on the Geara Doga
Yazan is in a GMIII variant, upgraded with prototype parts. Char is using a Dijeh equipped with Psychoframe and additional parts like the Schuzrum Dias booster, additional thrusters, and a high power version of the Doga beam rifle. Plus the shield with sturms like on the Doga. Like the other anon said, he didn't turn the Psychoframe until the end when he got bored, kicks Yazan's GM's head off (which also blows the Dijeh's leg to bits, giving him an excuse to replace it with Dijeh SE-R parts later)
